WWE: Snooki, LayCool, Trish Stratus Caught Partying Together Before WrestleMania

Alfred KonuwaMar 28, 2011

WWE Diva's LayCool and Trish Stratus recently inhabited Mike's Sports bar to shoot an angle that will air on RAW later tonight.

Aspiring WWE Diva Snooki was along for the ride, and the kayfabe-killing photo (shown above) of the four Divas having a good time at Mike's Sports bar has surfaced online.

If the photo doesn't tell enough of the story, Snooki was reportedly intoxicated while filming took place, and her high maintenance behavior created a headache for WWE producers.

The implications of the photo, coupled with the fact that WWE has shot an angle where a perennial party animal (in Snooki) is portrayed as a babyface, further muddies WWE's current TV-PG format that has suddenly become ambiguous.

The Rock's return promo, and John Cena's homophobic taunts of the Rock in response to the aforementioned promo that brought about the ire of GLAAD activists, have been other recent examples of WWE's continued TV-PG ambiguity.

The photo, although surfacing in an era where kayfabe is long gone, couldn't have made Vince McMahon, kayfabe's last martyr, very happy.  The buddy-buddy photo of soon-to-be WrestleMania opponents inspires memories of the KLIQ incident in Madison Square Garden, where real life buddies Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Triple H broke character to share one last moment together at a live event.

If what happened to Triple H as a result of the infamous curtain call is any indication, LayCool had better get their flippers, wetsuits, and clothespins ready because they're going to be doing some serious pig slop swimming.
