WWE Superstar of the Week: Mar. 6-13

As Wrestlemania draws near, the WWE is building its rivalries and storylines. My two finalists for the Superstar of the Week are both involved in their own exciting storylines.

My finalist from Raw? Three letters: R.K.O.

Randy Orton was attacked by the Nexus on Raw. Mason Ryan and David Otunga beat Orton down, and then CM Punk put in a few cheap shots. Randy was then put in an impromptu match against David Otunga.

Otunga quickly began to attack Orton and looked to be ready to win the match when Orton hit the RKO. With CM Punk watching, Orton punted Otunga in the skull. Orton has now defeated two Nexus members and will most likely face Mason Ryan on Monday.

Smackdown gave us the return of E&C! I should end it there, but I will continue as Christian is my Smackdown finalist. At the start of the show, Edge was attacked by Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay. Christian would make his way down to the ring to help out Edge when General Manager Teddy Long announced that night's main event, Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay versus Edge and Christian.

The match was decent and Christian hit a Tornado DDT and Edge sealed the win with a flying elbow. I considered Cristian over Edge because Christian has been coming to the aid of Edge in recent weeks and he defeated Brodus Clay on Raw.

So who is the winner? Randy Orton fought against the odds and put Otunga out of commission. Orton will face Mason Ryan next; I think he will lose that match thus giving purpose to the matches stipulation. Christian saved Edge, won his tag match on Smackdown and defeated Brodus Clay on Raw. This is why Captain Charisma is my Superstar of the Week.
