World Wrestling Entertainment sent out the following press release in regards to Monday Night Raw airing live South of the Border:

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, September 24, 2008โWorld Wrestling Entertainmentยฎ (WWE) and TVC Deportes announced today a new agreement which will see WWE Monday Night RAW available live for the first time on TVC Deportes.ย This contract with Mexicoโs leading cable sports channel follows the announcements of WWE programming being launched on broadcast TV in Mexico on Televisaโs Galavision Canal 9 and TV Aztecaโs Azteca 7.
Beginning Monday, October 6, Monday Night RAW will be broadcast LIVE to more than 4.5 million TV households on TVC Deportes on Mondays from 8 p.m. CT.
With the addition of TVC Deportes in Mexico, Monday Night RAW is now available LIVE throughout North America. Millions tune-in every week to view a star-studded roster of WWEโs globally renowned Superstars, including John Cenaยฎ, Shawn Michaelsยฎ, Batistaยฎ, CM Punkโข, Randy Ortonยฎ, Chris Jerichoยฎ and Mexicoโs own Rey Mysterioยฎ.
