WWE Superstar of the Week: Feb. 27 to Mar. 4

This week on Raw, the WWE fans saw the return of Evan Bourne, King Sheamus' continued WWE burial (for more info see my article here), the continuation of the Randy Orton/CM Punk feud and The Miz running wild on Raw.

It was Randy Orton who really grabbed my attention on Raw. In the coming weeks, Orton must face every member of the New Nexus; if Orton defeats them then they are banned from ringside for the CM Punk/Orton WrestleMania match. However, if the members should beat Orton then they will be allowed in CM Punk's corner.

Orton faced Michael McGillicutty and took care of business, winning the match. If removing McGillicutty from CM Punk's corner was not enough, Orton then punted him in the head. Randy was chased out of the ring by the Nexus but not before the "Viper" left his mark.

On SmackDown, Edge defeated Drew McIntyre, Undertaker and Christian returned and LayCool actually held together for a win. Also, we saw blood. Alberto Del Rio busted Edge's nose open, which brought Christian in for the save.

Once again, no one really stood out on SmackDown. With that said I will give consideration to Jack Swagger. It appears that he is finally out of his slump as he is now Michael Cole's special trainer for Cole's match with Jerry "The King" Lawler at WrestleMania, and he also won on SmackDown by defeating JTG. While that is not very impressive, nobody on SmackDown really did much of anything.

Without much competition, Orton is my Superstar of the Week. It will be interesting to see where the Punk/Orton feud goes. That's all for me Bleachers, leave your comments below.
