*Alert* Phil Hughes pitches well! Yankees win, again
Phil Hughes didn’t walk a batter and had great control. I’ve been all over him all year but I did have a feeling he would pitch well tonight. I hate to use this as an excuse but I feel that he couldn’t see well and this was a good reason for him not pitching well this past year. It seems that the glasses he wears helps. He has a pretty good breaking ball. His breaking ball goes 12 o clock to 6 o clock and it’s an awesome pitch. I really don’t have any right to brag about Phil Hughes because all I said were bad things about him all year. The worst thing for Hughes is that he still didn’t get a win. Jose Veras got the win. The thing Hughes did was make an argument for him to be in the rotation next season.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
After Bobby Abreu’s slam to win the game, he gets himself up to 99 rbi’s. I’d like to see him get that 100th rbi the next game so we could see some one else play in the outfield. It was good to see Juan Miranda get 2 hits. He’s the player I’d like to see take Giambi’s spot next year. I’ve been saying this all week, what a shame the Yankees catch fire while they were eliminated from the playoffs.
