WWE: Why Vince McMahon Needs to Bring Back Jim Ross

Simply put….Jim Ross is the voice of WWE.

Never in pro wrestling has there been an announcer quite like Jim Ross. He’s won “Best Television Announcer” 13 times!!!

He could liven up any match, even if it was Santino vs. Hornswoggle.

In my opinion, the overall quality of programming has taken a significant hit since Good Ol’ JR was taken off TV almost two years ago.

Don’t get me wrong, as annoying as Michael Cole is, he is far better than he has been in years and I will always enjoy listening to The King, but no one can ever replace Jim Ross.

I think almost anyone who reads this can agree with me.

There have been reports that Vince doesn’t want to bring JR back for health reasons…but could this be a ploy?

Does Vince, in fact, plan to bring JR back at the grandest stage of them all?

I think if given the right push, JR could have one last good run with the company before calling it quits. He never had the proper send off that he should have because of his last attack with Bell's Palsy.

If he says he's good to go, then I think Vince should tell him thank you and hand him a headset. Jim Ross should be allowed to decide when he calls it a day and not someone else. 

Even if JR doesn’t come back full time, I’m still happy with him calling the PPV’s and the occasional Raw….anything is better than Matt Striker and Josh Mathews….

However, time will tell.

But until then, we can always hope for his return...and watch classic matches called by JR on YouTube…
