Federer has yet to lose a set during the entire tournament and is slated to face Richard Gasquet of France. Gasquet beat Gilles Simon today, 7-5, 2-6, 4-6.

The former top-10 players (Gasquet was ranked as high as seventh and Simon reached No. 6) have seriously dropped in the rankings (Gasquet at No. 28 and Simon at No. 33), but seem to be making a comeback.

The No. 1 ranked Wozniacki’s win over the 15th-ranked Pennetta sets up a semifinal against Marion Bartoli, who beat Peng Shuai, 6-2, 6-2. Wozniacki now holds a 7-0 all time record against Pennetta.
