Nick Collins Video: Watch His Pick Six in Super Bowl XLV
Nick Collins may have already sealed the Green Bay Packer’ Super Bowl XLV victory in the first half.
Already up 7-0 with less than 3:30 to go in the first quarter, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger heaves an errant throw with pressure mounting in his face down the field to “60 Minutes” Mike Wallace.
The throw, headed towards Mike Wallace streaking up the sidelines, fell short.

Yeah, so short that Nick Collins was able to undercut it and have it land right in his perfectly placed break basket.
How’s this for a roll?
Collins wasted no time waiting for his appetizers and skipped right to the main course as he buttered his roll himself.
Leaping in the air for the interception, Collins was able to land just inside the sidelines and bob and weave his way down the field.
The best part of the return was Collins leaping from the two-yard line and just plowing his way through three Pittsburgh Steelers would-be-tacklers, including offensive lineman Flozell Adams, who injured his shoulder attempting to tackle Collins.
Next time Flozell, use your entire body!
You’re a behemoth; get in the man’s way for goodness sakes!
I love it, though, four Pittsburgh Steelers come in once Collins lands, effort futile. Collins pops up and runs to the far side of the end zone, drops to his knees, with his Packers teammates surrounding him, embracing the moment.
Everyone is amped.
Collins throws down the ball, but quickly remembers that this is THE SUPER BOWL!
This is THE moment of your career.
An interception return for a touchdown on one of the most clutch quarterbacks in NFL history?
Are you kidding me!?
Give me that damn ball, ref; don’t you even think about touching that ball!
Oh, and that pesky penalty flag for excessive celebration?
Screw it.
This is the Super Bowl! Are we to expect these players to be robots in the biggest sporting event of the year?
I hate that rule.
I hate it even more in the Super Bowl.
As the Packers lead 21-17, Nick Collins, you are my Super Bowl MVP thus far.
