EPL: Why Manchester United's Loss to Wolves Could Be a Blessing in Disguise
(Disclaimer: This article is NOT a work of fiction, and is pretty personal. Any resemblance to actual teams and fans, living or dead, is NOT coincidental!)
I had barely put (read: thrown) the remote down after switching off my TV following United's loss at Wolves that I received the first of many text messages from Arsenal fans going "LMAO."
Guys, you squandered a FOUR-goal lead! I mean, who does that!

As incensed as I was after our loss (if I had a chewing gum in my mouth and looked like a 69-year-old Scotsman, I could have given Sir Alex a run for his money), there was a slight feeling of relief somewhere down there.
All the hoopla surrounding United's unbeaten run and comparison with Arsenal's "Invincibles" had finally been squashed, which was inevitable. And I thought to myself, what better team to end it all than one that is placed at the bottom of the league?
Manchester United now have a chance to put all the media pressure and ruckus surrounding the affair behind them and actually move on.
United have 13 games left in the league, including two clashes against Chelsea, trips to Arsenal and Liverpool and a home game against neighbours Man City.
Imagine what would have happened to the Reds' confidence had one of those teams broken the unbeaten run.
The whole of the Manchester United family—players, coaches and fans included—have never given a damn about the unbeaten record. Winning the league has been the focus from Day 1 and it will remain the same till we get our hands on that four-stone trophy.
First three points dropped of the season. Well done, Wolves! The hair dryer probably had gone for repairs. Rest assured, it'll be back should we need it.
It's time to compose ourselves, show our character and go all guns blazing against City.
Gunners fans, you can keep your "invincible" record. It's probably the only thing that is keeping your trophy cabinet from being sold at Camden Market. We'll see who will be LMAO-ing at the end of the season.
But for now, let's get on with things, shall we?
