New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft participated in much of the Super Bowl activities held in Dallas and was present for Roger Goodell's state of the league address.

Earlier Friday, reporters questioned Kraft about the Logan Mankins situation:

“Logan Mankins is one of the best players on the team,” Kraft answered. “I think there has been a little misunderstanding about some things that have been written. I just personally want to say, I hope he’s with us for a long term and we’re going to try to do whatever we have to do to make sure that happens.”

There have been many reports of turmoil between both sides, but this is the first time Kraft has publicly addressed the matter in months.

Kraft was then asked about the situation of contract talks between the two parties, and he did not respond.

With the CBA up in the air and set to expire in March, free agency this offseason will be interesting.

It's likely a new CBA won't be agreed upon until after the NFL draft in April.
