WWE SmackDown! Preview: Be Careful What You Wish For...

Ron JohnsonSep 19, 2008

Everyone wants to choose sides when it comes to whether you want to be a part of the opposition or part of the "force." If you were to walk around a WWE locker room right now, people are either keeping their distance from SmackDown! GM Vickie Guerrero and her hired muscle Big Show or their getting right into their calm little center. Despite all that, the show will go on.

Vlad Finds Competition...whether he wants it or not

Last week, Vladimir Kozlov made it clear that he was not happy being thrown creampuffs to occupy his time. He also made it clear that if he isn't given competition, he will find competition. Later on in the evening, he found his new prey...much to the chagrin of the fans. After winning the Fatal Four Way to earn a shot at Triple H at No Mercy, Jeff Hardy got blindsided and dropped like a bad habit by Kozlov.

But in his quest for competition, has Kozlov bit off more than he can chew? What will Jeff Hardy do for revenge tonight? Well, he can't completely focus on Kozlov because he has a match with The Brian Kendrick tonight. But The Legend Thriller will still have Vladimir in his rear view mirror.

The Franchise Playa Plays The Game

For over a year, we have heard MVP go on and on about being the best and being better than all of us. But as of late, he hasn't even been better than Stephen Hawking in a poetry contest. Tonight, he gets a chance to get back on the winning end of a match. Unfortunately, if he wants a victory, he will have to find a way to defeat The King of Kings.

After successfully defending the WWE Championship at Unforgiven, and getting into the heads of all four competitors in last week's Fatal Four Way, Triple H got the pleasure of watching as all four men from the Championship Scramble proved their case to be the best and the #1 Contender. Now tonight, The Game will have to deal with the big mouth of Mr. 305. But as he has proven time and time again, especially against him at Unforgiven, all it takes is one Pedigree to silence anyone's chances of victory.

Apology Demanded...But Will It Be Given?

Last week, Big Show made it clear that everyone needs to follow the rules on SmackDown! To prove his point, he brutalized The Undertaker and joined forces with Vickie Guerrero. Now Vickie has made her intentions clear: To make SmackDown! in her image. To show her power, she has informed The Undertaker to come back to SmackDown! and apologize to her for the threats.

But obviously, she didn't get the memo. Anyone who has tried to take down the Deadman, including the Big Show knows that it comes with a price. The penalty: Their soul. Expect Taker to be back on SmackDown! tonight to answer the challenge of this power couple. Will Undertaker apologize to Vickie and Big Show? Or will SmackDown!'s newest power couple feel the wrath of a Deadman who is known to show NO MERCY?

Find out tonight as SmackDown! prepares for its final episode on the CW before moving back to MYNetworkTV!
