WWE: 5 Guys To Dethrone The King at Elimination Chamber

Charlie GJan 31, 2011

No offense to Jerry "The King" Lawler but I don't want to see him in the WWE title hunt. If King wins this seven man RAW Rumble he gets The Miz for the WWE title at Elimination Chamber. I always thought the title was defended in the Chamber match but things change. Since the chances of that happening are slim to none it's likely we'll see our RAW announcer locked in an Elimination Chamber with some of the best superstars on RAW. I made a list of five superstars who could come and take over for Jerry in that match. Let's get started!

1.) Triple H

1 of 6

"The Game" Triple H can return at the Elimination Chamber as a surprise entrant hand picked by Lawler. I wouldn't book The Game to win though. I'd have Triple H in the Chamber to get revenge on Sheamus. No where to run, no where to hide for the 2011 King of the Ring. There will be bad blood if this were to happen which is why I have it at number one.

2.) Daniel Bryan

2 of 6

It should be cool to see Daniel Bryan compete in an Elimination Chamber especially if him and CM Punk will start as the first two contestants. Honestly, I doubt Daniel Bryan is going to defend the United States Championship at Elimination Chamber. Daniel Bryan is ready for the main event. He is just a theme song and a meaningful feud away from the main event scene.

3.) Skip Sheffield

3 of 6

You're probably asking, "Why Skip Sheffield?" Well why not? The big boss himself, that's right Vince McMahon said he can make Sheffield the second biggest babyface in WWE (behind Cena of course.) This is unlikely though because Skip might join The Corre to equal the playing field with Nexus. As of now it is four on five with the advantage going to the Nexus. Skip can come back and change that or replace King in the Chamber.

4.) Evan Bourne

4 of 6

I know you might be asking, "Why?" again but let me explain. Bourne can return at the Chamber to replace King and in the process get revenge on CM Punk for putting him on the shelf. Bourne won't win but he'll try to prevent Punk from winning. Almost like The Game and Sheamus.

5.) Ted DiBiase Jr.

5 of 6

Now the least likely. Ted DiBiase. Since the breakup of Legacy DiBiase has been going down hill. He resurrected his fathers Million Dollar title but didn't do anything with it. He hired his fathers old servant, Virgil, only to fire him weeks after hiring him. Now he has Maryse and she isn't doing much for him either. DiBiase can buy his way into the Elimination Chamber match and put up a fight.

Conclusion

Well Bleachers those were my five options. Agree? Disagree? Do you like the idea of having Jerry "The King" Lawler compete in the Elimination Chamber? Let me know! Comment away.
