Super Bowl 2011: Why Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers Will Win Again
The Pittsburgh Steelers will win their third Super Bowl in six years, on the back of their star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
It's easy, and is almost a cop out, for a writer to make such a bold prediction because of one player, but Roethlisberger has proven, time and again, that he is a winner.
In 2005, the then-23-year-old Roethlisberger became the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl after the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 21-10. Statistically, that game was a failure for Roethlisberger, but he came through when it counted, completing that infamously clutch 3rd–and–28 and scoring a touchdown on that same drive.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For a young quarterback, succeeding in a situation like that provides an infinite amount of confidence—confidence that Roethlisberger brought with him to the 2008 Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida.
In 2008, Roethlisberger played like a man among boys, throwing 21-for-30 for 256 yards, including the toe tingling touchdown pass to game MVP Santonio Holmes.
That was not an easy pass for Roethlisberger to make and it showed a champion's faith in his own ability.
Hines Ward recently told The New York Daily, "Every time he steps in that huddle, the whole team knows we have a chance to win ballgames."
It's hard to beat a team that knows they can win football games. It's even harder to beat a team that knows they can win football games—and consistently does.
The experience factor can not be understated here.
The Super Bowl is a national holiday. Everything from the lights to the footballs are bigger. The whole country is watching. Winning a Super Bowl is not like winning the NFC championship game.
Roethlisberger knows how to win. Roethlisberger and the Steelers will win.
