Adding a bit of spice to her press conferences, Caroline Wozniacki is proving to reporters that she is anything but dull.

During a recent post-match meet-up with the press, Wozniacki addressed rumors that she was a "boring" interviewee.

To combat this, the world No. 1 held her own conference in which she asked herself the usual questions amongst other more colorful queries, giving small insight into her love life, childhood and even her favorite football team.

Continuing on with her more exciting behavior, the Dane told members of the press that she was involved in a scuffle with the most unexpected of opponents: a baby kangaroo. While in a Melbourne park, Wozniacki claimed that she was cut by the marsupial. Though journalists tried to get their facts correct by asking follow-up questions, no one thought to ask the most important question of all: "Are you serious?"

Once outlets began reporting the story as true, Wozniacki had to come back with a formal apology and clarification of the truth.

"I'm sorry if I caused an inconvenience. I really didn't mean to. I didn't think you would believe it because I already told the Danish press and they know. I thought it was out there already. So I just wanted to apologize and that's why I'm here. I'm hoping that the press conferences in the future will still be funny. I promise if I make a joke like this, I'll make sure to clarify it before I leave."

The incident may remind some Americans of President Jimmy Carter's famous run-in with a "killer rabbit" while taking part in a solo fish trip in his hometown of Plains, Georgia.

Meanwhile, Ekaterina Makarova had to deal with some insanity of her own. During her fourth-round match against Kim Clijsters, the world No. 49 was delayed after the chair umpire noticed that a sponsor logo on the front of her shirt was too big.

The umpire, Mariana Alves of Portugal, asked the Russian to change the shirt before the match could begin. Makarova later moved the logo from the front of her shirt to her right sleeve, where larger logos, according to the Grand Slam Rule Book, are allowed.

Rounding out the weekend’s less than normal behavior, verbal jabs were thrown during the Leander Paes-Mahesh Bhupathi match against Juan Monaco and his partner Feliciano Lopez

The dust-up reportedly started when Paes continuously exclaimed "vamos" whenever he scored a point, a remark that the Indian players claims to have used for years. "I've been using it for about 16 or 17 years. Just one of the words I like to use," Paes told press after the match.

Like kids in a school yard, both sides are claiming the scuffle was minimal at best and offered press no explanation as to where the blame for the altercation should fall.

"They want to clarify, you know, their behavior, why they got upset," said Bhupathi afterwards. "I guess from our point of view they really had no reason to be as upset as they were. We were up a set and a break. You know, it was just a case of, you know, not being in a happy place because they were down a set and a break. That's why that was the behavior. They were trying to clarify their stance. We listened to what they had to say."

In response, Lopez only offered, "Well, nothing happened that really matters. I mean, we were playing, match was quiet, and one of the players, he was trying to provoke us all the time. At one point, we were a little bit tired of the style he was using on the court, and that's all what happened.... But at the end, I was talking to Mahesh and everything was fine. Nothing else to comment."

When all was said and done, it was visible to fans that the Spanish players were upset, as Monaco chose to only shake Paes' hand, while Lopez just shook Bhupathi's.
