MLB Daily Market Wrap Up
Moving Today's Market There's a full schedule of baseball action tonight, and that has created quite a few interesting market moves for tonight's games. For the second night in-a-row it looks like Smart money is backing the Nationals against the NL East leading Mets. New York is receiving 83% of money line wagers, but the line has moved from an opening at Pinnacle of the Mets -171 to -150. The Metropolitans send emerging starter Mike Pelfry (13-9, 3.77 ERA) to the mound against Washington's Odalis Perez (6-10, 4.48). In one of tonight's marquis match ups, the Brewers send hired gun C.C. Sabathia (15-8, 2.81) to the mound against the Cubs and Ryan Dempster (15-6, 3.02). Dempster is having a season to remember when pitching on the North Side of Chicago, with a 2.90 ERA and 12-3 record at the Friendly Confines. The Brewers opened as -120 favorites at Pinnacle, but are currently receiving +101 odds even though the Cubs are only receiving 53% of money line wagers. That shows a lot of money backing the Cubs. In some late action, the Angels send ace John Lackey (11-3, 3.25) to face the Athletics and Sean Gallagher (4-6, 5.01). Anaheim opened as -147 favorites at Pinnacle, and are receiving 79% of money line backing from the public. The Sharps have some faith in Oakland, as the line has moved to currently the Angels as -131 favorites. Key Injury Updates
