Getting In The Wrestlemania Spirit! Part 1: Pyrotechnics!
This is a multiple part slide-show series I will be writing here on Bleacher Report to get all of you Bleachers in the Wrestlemania Spirit! After all, Wrestlemania is the Christmas of Professional Wrestling, fans, so I really just want to do something creative to get you guys flamed up once a month in anticipation for this year’s Wrestlemania.
I will be ranking unique things in slideshows that hopefully no one here on Bleacher Report has done. Since there are roughly three months to go till Wrestlemania XXVII in Atlanta Georgia, I will be pumping out one to three slid shows a month, with the last of the installments out the day of Wrestlemania.
So without further adieu, let’s get started with this one!
One of the things that make Wrestlemania majestic is its atmosphere. Some people pay good money just to be among their fellow wrestling fans and share the excitement among them. That being said, there’s one thing (of many) that most, if not all, Wrestlemanias share in common.
One of the first things we witness at Wrestlemania is the Pyrotechnics. The crowd becomes electric. As soon as they hear the loud rumpling of fireworks everywhere, they know it’s time to get to business. They’ve waited a whole year for this event, and it’s starting.
In this slideshow, I will be ranking the pyrotechnics that happened at the last 10 Wrestlemanias. There are no criteria to use to really rank the pyro. They’re meant to get a fan excited, and really, they deliver. So, basically this is a very biased slide show.
But in the end, you should still be excited for Wrestlemania, even if this slideshow is biased. Watching all the Wrestlemania fireworks in this slideshow will hopefully help jump start the flow of the excitement of Wrestlemania into you guys.
With that being said, let’s get stated on this!
For some unknown reason, Bleacher Report won't let me embed the YouTube video on to the slide-show. I've been putting off publishing this slideshow for approximately 15 days thinking it was a Bleacher Report internal error.
Whatever the reason, I will still provide the links to the Wrestlemania pyro in the slide-show.
10. Wrestlemania XXIV
1 of 11
Simple pyro that goes up in the air but still effective! Every time, a different colour is splattered up, which I really liked! I expected a bit more out of WWE because it was an outdoor stadium, but it was still enjoyable.
Just as a side note, I couldn't find the televised version of this pyro anywhere on the Internet, so I had to resort to getting a camera version, which I believe is just as good.
9. Wrestlemania XX
2 of 11
The famous MSG, where Wrestlemania XX took place. I really liked the pyro coming from the ceiling where the fireworks were coming from four different directions, converging into one.
8. Wrestlemania XIX
3 of 11
A year prior to Wrestlemania XX. The beginning of the pyro is really cool, where it looks like an explosion.
7. Wrestlemania 21
4 of 11
REALLY great pyro for an indoor stadium. The colours are all just wonderful.
6. Wrestlemania 22
5 of 11
Again with the ceilings! This is pyro was just amazing. I really loved it. Especially the end with the little sparkles of dots everywhere of different colours.
5. Wrestlemania X-Seven
6 of 11
Pyro coming from both the ring and the TitanTron? Well played, WWE. Really nice display here.
4. Wrestlemania X8
7 of 11
The beginning was cool, where everything looked like explosions of different colours. The ending is just as good, with sparkling colours above in the ceiling.
3. Wrestlemania XXVI
8 of 11
The Wrestlemania that occured just a short year ago. Really nice display of fireworks here. The red at the beginning really displayed the Cardinals and Arizona well.
2. Wrestlemania 23
9 of 11
Wrestlemania 23 comes in as the runner up! I loved the pyro here. It really got me jumping for Wrestlemania to get started. Nice job, WWE.
1. Wrestlemania XXV
10 of 11
Pyrotechnics fitting for the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania. The viewers and live crowd at Houston were in for a treat! Really great job here WWE. Hopefully, we'll have something like this at this year's Wrestlemania!
The End

This is sort of a rushed slide-show if you guy's didn't notice. I'm really busy with exams and everything right now, but next week, I will start publishing articles and all the good stuff on a regular basis again.
Anywho, thanks for going through my slide-show! I hope you guys are atleast in a bit of the Wrestlemania spirit by now! Remember to read my next installment in this series!
Until then, it's Ray Samuels signing off!
