Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Across the nation, it is clear that there is a lot of hate between these teams, and expect this to be a very, very physical game.
When these teams last met, back on Dec. 6 in New England, the Patriots handed the Jets a major beat down. A beat down by 42 points in a 45-3 victory.
If you ask me about the first game this season between these guys, the 28-14 victory by the Jets, I just throw it out the window. The Patriots are a different team. Their offense has changed without receiver Randy Moss, and it's much better with Deion Branch.
I believe, at first, this will be a close game. Throughout the first half, the Patriots might have some issues stopping the Jets run, because I believe New York is going to try to run it down New England's throat.
The Jets will try to control the clock by running the ball, and keep the ball out of quarterback Tom Brady's hands.
If New England stops the Jets on third down early, then I can see these game being won in the first half. I simply don't see the Jets stopping Brady and this nearly unstoppable offense.
The Patriots have scored at least 30 points in eight straight games, they cannot be stopped.
If New England doesn't turn the ball over, which they hardly do thanks to Brady's 335 passes without an interception and running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis never fumbling in his lifetime, the Patriots will win.
After half-time, the Patriots will put the nail in the coffin. No matter how close it is in the first half, Bill Belichick will out-coach Rex Ryan at half time, and New England will prevail.
Forget all the trash talk that the Jets have been throwing out there, forget what Rex Ryan has been saying. It's all about football, not talking.
The Jets are scared, and they're trying to use their talk as smokescreens to take pressure off of them. Well, the more talk, the more "bulletin-board material" Belichick is getting.
The Jets will need to control the clock, get turnovers, score more than 24 points, and play nearly perfect to win. It's just too much for the Jets to compete with the Patriots, they need so many things to go their way.
I can almost guarantee that the Jets' players are questioning themselves. Rex Ryan is probably compiling some game-plan that isn't what the Jets usually do. It happened Dec. 6, and look what happened. Ryan will try to turn his team into something it's not, and it will cause the players to question themselves.
New England will take care of business against the Jets with a 31-17 victory over the Jets.
