2010 NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round Will Be Action-Packed
It's round two of the NFL playoffs, and the stakes are even higher. It's time for one team to put up or shut up.
Tony Marks told me that he thinks the New York Jets will make it to the Super Bowl. Maybe he thinks they will win it. I laughed to myself when I heard that.
I do know that the Jets have already won the championship in trash-talking. Some players are talking crap against New England, and head coach Rex Ryan said that his team's game against the Patriots is "personal."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So there's one thing to do about New England: Beat them.
I can understand that the Jets got lucky in their first regular season meeting against the Patriots. It must have been very humiliating when they got the crap beat out of them in that Monday night game in their second meeting. Darn. The Jets hate Tom Brady, who was named the NFL 2010 AFC Offensive Player of the Year. He probably will get the overall MVP award.
Simply put, the Jets don't have a snowballs chance in hell to reach or win the Super Bowl.
The game I want to watch is the backyard brawl between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. It's like the Steelers playing against the old Cleveland Browns. Art Modell, as you remembered, moved the old Cleveland franchise to Baltimore.
Chicago should be well-rested and ready to play the Seattle Seahawks at home. It doesn't matter to me that Seattle finished 7-9. So much has been said about that team being the first in NFL history to make the playoffs with a losing record. Guess what? They made it and beat last year's champions.
Green Bay is the most dangerous team remaining in the playoffs. Last week, they stuffed one bird and its leader of the flock, Michael Vick, who was voted the NFL 2010 NFC Offensive Player of the Year. Now the Packers have to try to stuff a bigger bird in the Atlanta Falcons.
Green Bay actually game-planned three days before playing the Eagles because they knew that if they beat Philly, they would play Atlanta. The Falcons didn't have that luxury because they had to plan for Green Bay, New Orleans and Philly, just in case the first round results were different.
So the table is set for the final eight teams in the playoffs. I will think about humbling myself before Tony if the Jets make the Super Bowl. They haven't won the Super Bowl since Broadway Joe wore panty hose under his uniform pants.
