Tim Tebow On The Move? Six Possible Landing Spots For The Former Gator
John Elway recently said he thinks Tim Tebow is not a good NFL QB 'at this time.' He could be hinting that because the only person who wanted to draft Tebow, Josh McDaniels, is gone, Tebow should go too.
There are many teams in need of a QB right now, and I don't think there is much talent available at the QB position in the draft, so a trade for Tebow might be a good idea.
I want to start off by saying that I think Tebow definitely could be a starter in the NFL. Although I was surprised that the Broncos chose Tebow in last year's draft, I did not and still don't think it was a bad idea.
Some of the teams on this list might just have Tebow as a backup, but as he will be if the Broncos don't trade him, he can be a player for the future.
San Francisco 49ers

After the signing of Jim Harbaugh, the addition of Tim Tebow could make the 49ers a serious contender for the NFC West title next year.
At the moment their No. 1 QB is either Alex Smith or Troy Smith. Even John Elway has to admit Tebow is better than both of them.
I think the 49ers could be a very good team if they had Tim Tebow. They already have weapons like Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis, so a QB is really all they need to have a great offense.
Arizona Cardinals

Is John Skelton the answer in Arizona? I really don't know, but I do know Tim Tebow could be. Larry Fitzgerald has really missed Kurt Warner, and I think he would be happy with any upgrade at the QB position.
They have a running attack with Beanie Wells, so unless they are able to pick up a QB in the draft, Tebow would be their best option.
Minnesota Vikings

Brett Favre's expression in this picture sums up the Vikings' 2010 season. Even if Favre did decide yet again to return to the NFL for one last year, I don't think the Vikings would want him after this year's performance.
Insert Tim Tebow, a completely different replacement for Brett Favre. Minnesota is another team who could pick up a QB in the draft, but with their best options being Ryan Mallett and Jake Locker, Tebow would be the best choice.
Carolina Panthers

The only way I can see this happening is if the Panthers trade away their first pick. If they didn't, they would most likely pick up Blaine Gabbert.
I think Gabbert isn't up to the standard of previous No. 1 overall picks Matthew Stafford and Sam Bradford, so it is very likely the Panthers will trade down and maybe pick up Tim Tebow instead of sticking with Jimmy Clausen.
San Diego Chargers

The chances of the Broncos trading Tebow to division rivals the Chargers is very low.
I would love if the Chargers did end up getting Tebow not only because of the fact I'm a Chargers fan, but because it would make a lot of sense.
Not only would the Chargers get a great backup to replace Billy Volek, but in goal-line situations, where the Chargers struggled this year, they could bring in Tebow to pound the ball into the end zone.
Philadelphia Eagles

Before people start exiting the slideshow, just let me explain. Imagine this, Michael Vick leading the Eagles downfield and then bringing Tim Tebow in on the goal line just like the Chargers.
Vick would be a great teacher for Tebow, and if Vick happened to go down with another injury, the Eagles can bring in a younger version of Vick in Tim Tebow.
Not only that but in a few years, when Michael Vick retires, the Eagles wouldn't have to change anything about their offense because they would be replacing Vick with the most similar player to Vick.
Although I think this is the least likely to happen, I think it would be the best thing for Tebow and the Eagles would definitely improve, if not straight away but in the future.
