NFL Rumors: Carolina Panthers and 10 Teams Who Could Trade for Vince Young
Vince Young, quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, reportedly won't return to the team next season.
It seemed like owner Bud Adams may have kept him in favor of coach Jeff Fisher, but that turned out not to be the case.
Young, despite all of his issues, will generate some serious trade interest, although he is making over $8 million next season, so a release may be more likely.
Either way, the Titans will look to trade him before releasing him, and here are 10 teams that might come calling.
Carolina Panthers
1 of 10
The Panthers were all set to take Andrew Luck, but that didn't work out as planned.
The new Panthers coach could come in and groom Young in an environment with nearly no pressure, because no one is expecting much from this team.
And he'd be an immediate upgrade over Jimmy Clausen.
Buffalo Bills

Ryan Fitzpatrick had a surprisingly solid year, but it didn't translate to wins.
Young was 30-2 at Texas, and has a winning record as an NFL starter.
Seattle Seahawks
3 of 10
Matt Hasselbeck isn't getting any younger (or any less brittle), and Charlie Whitehurst clearly isn't the answer.
The Seahawks are a playoff team (all joking aside) that could get a big boost by adding a legitimate quarterback.
Cincinnati Bengals
4 of 10
Cincinnati needs to move on from Carson Palmer.
This team has talent so it might not make sense to wait for a rookie to develop, so taking a shot on Young might be the smart move. They could challenge for a playoff spot with solid quarterback play.
Minnesota Vikings
5 of 10
Joe Webb flashed some promise and is an even better athlete than Young (arguably), but he isn't ready to star yet (if he ever will be).
Young would be a great addition to an already-talented Vikings squad.
Miami Dolphins
6 of 10
The Dolphins have a playoff-caliber defense, but desperately need a competent quarterback.
Young could manage the game like he did when Tennessee was playing well. He thrived in that role.
Oakland Raiders
7 of 10
Al Davis loves top-tier athletes, and Young certainly is one.
The Raiders are in a similar situation to the Dolphins, with a good defense but a big void at quarterback.
Washington Redskins
8 of 10
The Donovan McNabb experiment didn't work out as planned for Mike Shanahan.
If he wants to keep his job, Shanahan needs to take a risk on a guy like Young.
San Francisco 49ers
9 of 10
The Smiths aren't getting it done.
The 49ers are another team with a solid defense and talent at the skill positions on offense, so Young could be the piece that moves them into the playoffs.
Arizona Cardinals
10 of 10
John Skelton wasn't supposed to start as a rookie. He has a lot of tools, but he is still very raw.
Getting Young would give the Cardinals a stopgap while Skelton develops, and potentially the long-term answer if he doesn't (and Young succeeds).
They can't go into next season as shallow at quarterback as they did this season.
