Jim Harbaugh's Stock Soars: Will the Dolphins Offer Him $60 Million?
Jim Harbaugh may be getting an offer from the Miami Dolphins he literally cannot refuse.
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross may be prepared to offer Harbaugh a contract worth $60 million over eight years when they meet today in California.
A source with knowledge of the situation said that Ross is prepared to offer Harbaugh the biggest contract ever extended to a head coach by an NFL owner.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Harbaugh spent five hours with San Francisco 49ers management Wednesday, and word is that he's asking for between $7 million and $8 million per year on a multiple-year deal.
Ross appears ready to make that offer today. He is meeting with Harbaugh and has brought Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland and former Kansas City GM Carl Peterson with him in an effort to woo Harbaugh to Miami. If he does, it would have to be a closed-door, handshake-only situation, as the Dolphins have not interviewed any minority candidates to comply with the league's Rooney Rule.
One of Harbaugh's main considerations may be relocating his family. He and wife Sarah have five children. Miami is a long way from Palo Alto. San Francisco is less than an hour's drive.
If the San Francisco 49ers can make an offer for five years in the neighborhood of $35 to $40 million, then he just might be destined for the bay area.
One thing is for sure: Harbaugh will have a lot to think about after today.
