Q: If the Eagles win in the first round, who do they face in the divisional round?

A: It will be the Bears. We know that with 100 percent certainty. If the Birds win their home playoff game in the first round, they’ll travel to Chicago for the second time this season to take on the Bears in the divisional round. Chicago hosts the top-seeded team from the wild-card round. Since the Eagles are No. 3, that would be them.

Q: Can the Eagles host a second playoff game?

A: The answer is yes. They could potentially host the NFC championship game if the four or five seed advances that far. The four seed is the NFC West champ, and it would be a monumental upset if the Rams or Seahawks beat the Saints in the first round and then beat the Falcons in the divisional round. But it’s possible (I guess).

There’s another scenario too, one that’s more likely: the Saints advance to the NFC championship. That one could actually happen. New Orleans, the defending Super Bowl champs, would have to beat either the Rams or the Seahawks in the first round and then take out the Falcons in Atlanta in the divisional round.

If the Eagles and Saints were to both make it to the NFC championship, that game would be played at the Linc.
