NFL: Everything You Need to Know About All the Games on Wild Card Weekend
In the words of former coach Bill Parcells, the tournament has begun.
Of the four games, the marquee game of the weekend will be the Week 1 rematch of the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles as the two clubs bring their high-octane offenses back to the Linc on Sunday.
Unlike their early September matchup, the Eagles will enter the playoffs with a healthy Mike Vick under center instead of Kevin Kolb, his first starting playoff appearance since 2004 while with the Atlanta Falcons.
While in Indianapolis, the Jets will try to live up to their insanely high preseason expectations as Mark Sanchez and Peyton Manning will matchup again just a year after meeting in the AFC Championship that propelled the Colts to the Super Bowl.
In the Midwest, the matchup of the Chiefs and Ravens will most likely be the best game of the weekend. The two clubs have top-15 offenses and top-15 defenses but the playmakers on either offense like Ray Rice and Jamaal Charles will likely be the game-changing factor for the win.
In the most mediocre game of the weekend, the Saints will travel to the great northwest to play NFC West champion Seattle, which should end up being a rout and being the most unwatchable game of the postseason.
With that being said, let’s get to the breakdown of the four games on Wild Card Weekend.
