
The 25 Biggest Fantasy Football Performances of 2010
The NFL playoffs may be just starting, but fantasy football has come to an end. Let's take a look at the 25 single biggest fantasy performances in 2010.
I am basing the rankings on a fairly standard scoring system of six points for TDs, one point for every 10 yards rushing or receiving, one point for every 25 yards passing, minus two points for interceptions and two points for two-point conversions.
25. Ray Rice, Week 15: 35.3 Points

Rice didn't have the fantasy impact this season that many anticipated, but he did in Week 15.
Rice finished with 35.8 points. He tallied 153 yards rushing, 80 receiving and two touchdowns.
24. Jay Cutler, Week 12: 35.6 Points

Cutler has had an up-and-down fantasy career. He wasn't been asked to put up huge numbers in Chicago, but he was a beast in Week 12.
He racked up 35.6 fantasy points on 247 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also threw in 17 rushing yards for good measure.
23. Kyle Orton, Week 10: 35.6 Points

Kyle Orton had some very productive performances this season.
In Week 10, Orton netted 35.6 points on 296 yards passing, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
22. Matt Schaub, Week 2: 36.1 Points

The Texans had an underwhelming season, but they started off strong and so did Schaub. In Week 2, they played the Redskins in one of the season's more entertaining games.
Schaub amassed 36.1 points on an eye-popping 497 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
21. Matt Cassel, Week 12: 36.1 Points

The run-heavy Chiefs didn't need their QB Matt Cassel to put up a lot of big fantasy numbers. They let him cut it loose in Week 12, though.
Cassel ended with 36.1 points on 233 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Cassel also pitched in 28 yards with his feet.
20. Jason Snelling, Week 2: 36.6 Points

Jason Snelling didn't get to be the main guy in Atlanta's backfield often this season. He did in Week 2, though, and he took full advantage of it.
Snelling racked up 36.6 Points with three touchdowns on 129 yards rushing and 58 receiving.
19. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Week 7: 37 Points

Fitzpatrick came out of nowhere to put up some solid fantasy starts in 2010. His fantasy season was highlighted by 37 points in a Week 7 performance.
He had 374 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions and added 20 yards rushing.
18. Peyton Hillis, Week 12: 37.4 Points

Peyton Hillis was one of 2010's biggest fantasy surprises. The peak of his 2010 fantasy output came in Week 12 with a 37.4 point performance.
Hillis totaled three touchdowns on 131 yards rushing and 63 receiving.
17. Tom Brady, Week 13: 37.4 Points

Tom Brady had another stellar fantasy season. This Week 13 performance capped a dominant two week fantasy run for Brady.
He put up 37.4 points on 326 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions.
16. Tom Brady, Week 12: 37.7 Points

Tom Brady's hair wasn't the only thing fantastic about him this season. Week 12 saw him put up a gorgeous fantasy total of 37.7 points.
Brady had four touchdowns on 341 yards.
15. Aaron Rodgers, Week 11: 38.1 Points

Mr. Rodgers rocked his neighborhood for 38.1 fantasy points in week 11.
He threw for 301 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also pitched in 21 yards with his feet.
14. Tom Brady, Week 10: 38.3 Points

In case you couldn't tell yet, Tom Brady was on fantasy fire to start the second half of the season. With 38.3 points, Week 10 was his fantasy high point.
Brady threw for 350 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Tom even decided to run for a TD in this one.
13. David Garrard, Week 8: 38.6 Points

David Garrard doesn't get to be a fantasy star often on the run-heavy Jaguars, but that is what he was in week 8.
Garrard racked up his 38.6 points on 262 yards passing and five total touchdowns.
12. Michael Vick, Week 3: 38.6 Points

Michael Vick started off 2010 on the bench and off of fantasy rosters. That all changed in Week 3.
Vick announced his presence with 38.6 points by throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 30 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
11. Darren McFadden, Week 14: 38.9 Points

Fantasy players had largely given up on Darren McFadden at the start of the 2010 season. He then spent the season-changing people's perception about him.
In Week 14, McFadden ran his way to 38.9 points on two touchdowns and 123 yards rushing, one touchdown and 86 yards receiving.
10. Ben Roethlisberger, Week 11: 40.5

Steeler football doesn't often find the QB putting up big fantasy numbers. It did in Week 11, though.
Big Ben had 40.5 fantasy points on 275 yards and three touchdowns throwing and 55 yards and one touchdown rushing.
9. Kenny Britt, Week 7: 40.5 Points

Kenny Britt had an up-and-down season. It didn't get any more up than Week 7's 40.5 points. It was the highest output for a receiver in 2010.
Britt hauled in seven catches for 225 yards and three touchdowns.
8. Matt Cassel, Week 10: 41.1 Points

Matt Cassel had some monster fantasy days in 2010. None bigger than his Week 10 performance of 41.1 points.
Cassel threw for 469 yards and four touchdowns.
7. Jahvid Best, Week 2: 41.2 Points

Best wasted no time announcing his presence to fantasy owners. In the second game of his career, Best went for 41.2 points.
Best had three touchdowns on 78 yards rushing and 154 yards receiving.
6. Arian Foster, Week 1: 41.8 Points

Arian Foster had a consistently fantastic fantasy season. Still, he had his best fantasy day in Week 1.
Foster had 41.8 points on three touchdowns on 231 yards rushing. He also added seven receiving yards.
5. Josh Freeman, Week 16: 41.8 Points

Josh Freeman was a steady and consistent, if not spectacular fantasy QB. In Week 16, he was spectacular. Freeman was nearly perfect and he put up 41.8 points.
Freeman threw for five touchdowns on 237 yards. He added 23 yards rushing.
4. Aaron Rodgers, Week 16: 42.8

As good as Freeman was, Rodgers was one point better in Week 16. Rodgers had his best fantasy day with 42.8 points.
Rodgers threw for 404 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 26 yards.
3. Darren McFadden, Week 7: 43.6 Points

Darren McFadden put up the best fantasy day of the season for a running back when he ran and caught his way to 43.6 points in Week 7.
He had four touchdowns on 161 yards rushing and 31 receiving.
2. Michael Vick, Week 15: 44.7 Points

The Michael Vick comeback tour was rolling this year and he took his fantasy owners with him. In Week 15, Vick put up an impressive 44.7 points, and he put up most of it in the fourth quarter as he led the Eagles to one of the all-time great comebacks against the Giants.
Vick threw for 242 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. The dual threat master added 130 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
An amazing day, but it was not his best....
1. Michael Vick, Week 10: 57.3 Points

In one of the all-time great individual performances, fantasy or otherwise, Vick put all of his talents on display on a Monday night in Week 10.
Vick put up a mind-boggling 57.3 points by throwing for 333 yards, four touchdowns. zero interceptions and rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns. That is a solid fantasy day just with the passing or rushing numbers!
