2010-11 NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings
Before you start to break down the rankings for the playoffs, you need to decide who you think will be in the Super Bowl.
I’m predicting a Patriots-Saints Super Bowl.
As I pave their path to the big game, I will know how many games I expect each playoff team to play in.
Here’s the breakdown.
New Orleans Saints (four games)
Philadelphia Eagles (three games)
New England Patriots (three games)
Indianapolis Colts (two games)
Baltimore Ravens (two games)
Pittsburgh Steelers (two games)
Chicago Bears (one game)
Kansas City Chiefs (one game)
Atlanta Falcons (one game)
New York Jets (one game)
Green Bay Packers (one game)
Seattle Seahawks (one game)
Here are my top quarterbacks based on my above playoff projections.
1. Drew Brees: Elite QB with the most expected games.
2. Tom Brady: Likely league MVP is rolling.
3. Michael Vick: Banged up, but remains a fantasy force.
4. Peyton Manning: If you have Manning, you always have a chance.
5. Ben Roethlisberger: Steps up his game in the playoffs.
6. Joe Flacco: Could make a deeper run.
7. Aaron Rodgers: Could pull the upset in the opener.
8. Matt Ryan: Could also make a deeper run.
9. Matt Cassel: I'm afraid it's one and done for Cassel.
10. Jay Cutler: Will likely be exposed in the postseason.
11. Mark Sanchez: Look elsewhere.
12. Matt Hasselbeck: No thanks.
