Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles: 5 Keys To Victory
The Dallas Cowboys end a very disappointing season while the Eagles get ready for a home playoff game next week.
Cowboys.
1) Don't give up: Just because this is the last game of the season doesn't mean the Cowboys shouldn't play hard. Jason Garrett's job is still on the line and there are players who are rumored to be on the chopping block, so there's a lot left to play for.

2) Don't underestimate Kevin Kolb: If the Cowboys are going to play hard, they had better not underestimate Kevin Kolb. Just because he lost his job doesn't mean he can't play. The Cowboys have to be aggressive in going after him and confusing him with their coverages.
3) Make things easy for McGee: Stephen McGee could get the first start of his career, and it could go well if the Cowboys help him. That means getting McGee protected, getting receivers open and having a successful running game. It won't be easy however, as the Eagles just lost to a QB making his first start and they don't want to make it two weeks in a row.
4) Get the young guys in: With nothing to play for, this is the time to get the guys who are third on the depth chart in the game. This will be their only game action in a long time, so if nothing else, they'll play hard.
5) Remember this season: For the guys who will be back, they should remember this season. This is what happens when you buy into your own hype and don't work hard day in and out. Instead of gearing up for the playoffs, most of the team will be gearing up to play golf.
Eagles.
1) Play Hard: A lot of teams that have taken games off at the end of the season end up regretting it when the playoffs start. If the Eagles don't want to be one of those teams, they have to take this game seriously.
2) Avoid Injures: If Andy Reid is going to put some starters in, then he'd better make sure they stay safe. The Eagles already have a laundry list of injuries; they can't afford anymore.
3) Kevin Kolb needs a good showing: Whether it's to show the Eagles that he can start or to audition for another team, Kolb needs to have a good game. The Eagles are Vick's team now, which means he either has to get used to being a backup or convince another team he can start.
4) Don't think of this as a celebration: The season might be over and the division might belong to the Eagles, but that doesn't mean it's time to celebrate. The Eagles still have to make an impact in the playoffs for this to be considered a good season.
5) Prep for the playoffs: This game will be a good opportunity to run some plays and sets that the Eagles may want to use in the playoffs. They don't know who they're playing yet, but that doesn't mean they can't start working on the game in advance.
