NFL Power Rankings Week 17: Focus on the Philadelphia Eagles
Doing power rankings is tough, but because of the limited number of games on the NFL schedule, it's one of the only ways to get an idea of which teams are better besides just looking at their records.
At my site—www.GuysNation.com—I do a weekly power ranking of all 32 NFL teams. It's a hugely subjective process in which I account for a team's strength of schedule, margin of victory, good wins and bad losses.
With a record of 10-5 and victories over the Falcons, Giants (twice), and Colts, the Eagles look like one of the stronger teams in the NFC.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There are plenty of teams in the league right now with at least 9 or 10 wins, vying for the post season. Having not played the Ravens, Saints, Steelers or Jets yet, it's tough to predict how the Eagles would do against them. The Eagles have played the Bears, who they lost to, but the game was in Chicago so it doesn't hurt Philly's resume as bad, especially with a narrow margin in the outcome. When doing the rankings, I don't just compare teams with the same record. I look at how they did the whole season and what they did against quality opponents.
I don't have any idea what happened in Week 16 when the Vikings showed up in Philly, and while I can't completely ignore it, I do think it was an anomaly. Still, it's a notch in the loss column, and other teams step up and hit the 11 win mark.
So where did I place the Eagles in the GuysNation Power Rankings?
