Chelsea Ends Losing Streak with Malouda Scoring Against Bolton
In a dramatic change of fortunes, Chelsea FC defeated Bolton and received their first victory within seven matches.
Florent Malouda delivered the surprise for the Blues when Michael Essien released the ball to Didier Drogba.
Drogba proceeded to release the ball to Malouda who then launched a surprise kick past the Bolton goal keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen into the net.
The people at Stamford Bridge were ecstatic and wild when they witnessed the thaw in their cold season. They also began to shout for more goals or at least maintain the lead.
The sight of Frank Lampard inspired some of the supporters to wave flags of support for him and Chelsea.
The Wanderers and their supporters were stunned but the team attempted to recover lost ground. There were times when they attempted to equalize but Chelsea was not going to allow it.
In a more personal note as a Chelsea supporter, I am glad that the team was able to score at least one victory to end its losing streak.
Before the victory, many people were worried about what was going to happen to Chelsea. The pundits also thought that Roman Abramovich was going to remove Carlo Ancelotti.
The victory proved that Chelsea still has some life inside. It is also hoped that the Stamford Bridge team will continue to capitalize on its winning.
Bolton on the other hand was not happy with the results. Robinson and Taylor (who play for Bolton) were angry at a ruling from the Darren Cann who was the linesman.
They wanted to have some words and action with Cann who was quickly rebuffed by their team. The victory for Chelsea was great but they have to continue with the same tactics if they want to progress in the Premier League.
