Rex Grossman, Washington Redskins, Among NFL Week 16 Fantasy Risers
For most leagues, the fantasy championship is upon us.
The coveted Week 16 matchup between fantasy owners who have kicked and clawed their way through the grueling fantasy season is here.
Still, there are players out there who could make a difference for fantasy owners searching for the very best options to win their league and claim fantasy dominance until next season.
Rex Grossman was a major surprise last week. Everybody thought Mike Shanahan was crazy for benching Donovan McNabb for Rex Grossman. Then, Grossman threw four touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys.
Which other players have improved their stock heading into the most fantasy players' final week of the fantasy football season?
Ed Dickson, Baltimore Ravens TE
1 of 12
Dickson started in place of Todd Heap (injury) once again and performed well. This is his third straight game with extended playing time and it seems he’s starting to pick things up.
Dickson caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.

David Nelson, Buffalo Bills WR
4 of 12
With Lee Evans (ankle) on injured reserve, somebody has to catch passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick other than Stevie Johnson.
David Nelson appears to be that man.
The rookie has now caught a touchdown in three straight games. This is how it all started for Stevie Johnson earlier in the season.

Donald Brown, Indianapolis Colts RB
7 of 12
What can Brown do for you?
How about 129 yards and a touchdown on just 14 attempts. He also caught one pass for four yards.
People have waited all season for Brown to materialize and it seems like he finally has in the fantasy playoffs.
If he is announced the starter Week 16 against Oakland, he has a good matchup.

Rex Grossman, Washington Redskins QB
10 of 12
Grossman was terrible in the first half, but poured it on in the second. He finished the day completing 25 of 43 passes (58.1 completion percentage) for 322 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions and a fumble.
Mike Shanahan believes in Grossman, and I’m sure he has even more faith following his second half performance.
Grossman has a decent Week 16 matchup against Jacksonville.
