DeSean Jackson Saves Philadelphia Eagles Against New York Giants, Earns Payday
DeSean Jackson just proved why he is the most important player on the football field for the Philadelphia Eagles. Every time he touches the ball, magical things happen, and the Miracle in the Meadowlands III just occurred, thanks to an amazing punt return by Jackson as time expired.
Jackson has been asking for a new contract from the Eagles, and the Eagles have said they will not discuss it until the end of the season.
Andy Reid had better have something drawn up heading back into the locker room, even if it’s on a mustard-stained napkin. Jackson needs a new contract before he takes his shoulder pads off.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jackson only had three catches for 52 yards in the game and was virtually nonexistent until the fourth quarter.
As always, he makes big plays when he needs to, and boy, did he ever today!
Jackson is easily the best receiver in the NFL and is absolutely vital to the Eagles, and they struggle without him.
For the season, Jackson has 52 catches for 972 yards, with an amazing 23.1 yards per catch. Toss in eight total touchdowns for the year, and you have a man who is the primary focus of defenses, but they can't ever contain him no matter who they throw out there at him.
If there were ever a time to give a man an extension, it is now, and it has to happen in the next few minutes.
What a game by the Eagles!
