To say this fantasy football season is surprising is an understatement. After 14 weeks, Arian Foster is the top fantasy running back. Perennial top five fantasy wide receiver Randy Moss is a droppable. And, Brett Favre finally misses a start.
Even the best running back on an NFL team can end up being a surprise. Beanie Wells was highly projected before the season, but Tim Hightower was named starting running back for the Arizona Cardinals. Wells is still owned in many leagues, while Hightower is still not.

Pickups
Kerry Collins - Tennessee Titans - QB
This one is for the Rodgers owners. Collins has a healthy Kenny Britt and the Texans Defense on shorter rest after last night's OT game. Look for 300 yards and two TDs. Other names were mentioned as Rodger's replacement including Freeman and Kitna, but I truly think Collins is the better choice.
Tim Hightower - Arizona Cardinals - RB
Hightower rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14 and 81 yards in Week 13. Two back-to-back good games are good enough to be the top pickup of the week in a shallow running back fantasy season.
Owen Daniels - Houston Texans - TE
Last night we saw what a healthy Owen Daniels can do. Five catches 91 yards and saved the Texans on a couple drives. He should be a top TE again this week.
Shaun Suisham - Pittsburgh Steelers - K
Suisham has not missed a field goal since replacing longtime Steelers kicker Jeff Reed.
David Garrard - Jacksonville Jaguars - QB
Garrard recorded his fifth three+ touchdown game this season on Sunday.
Dumps
Roy Williams - Dallas Cowboys - WR
Williams stopped producing after I included him in my Week 6 Pickups. Maybe he’ll start producing again now that he’s in my Dumps. Whether he produces in Week 15 or not, I’m right.
Brandon Pettigrew - Detroit Lions - TE
Pettigrew only does well when the Lions win, or is it that the Lions win only when Pettigrew does well. Either way, both don’t happen often.
Beanie Wells - Arizona Cardinals - RB
Wells wasn’t feeling well Sunday or all season, but Hightower was.
