NFL Playoff Picture: NFC Playoff Scenarios After Week 14
NFC playoff scenarios are becoming more defined.
Although no team has clinched a spot in the postseason, clubs like the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints are proving to be real Super Bowl contenders.
Others are jostling for position.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here's a rundown of the NFC's contending team's playoff chances, and likely playoff fate, heading into the last three games of the season.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are soaring, they get the Saints in the Georgia Dome and with another matchup against the Panthers they should have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Remember, Matt Ryan doesn't lose at home.
Atlanta could be taking a trip to Dallas in February.
New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees and his Saints are flying a bit under-the-radar, but should host at least one game in the playoffs.
They're firing on all cylinders now, but are they really primed to take another run at a title? It'll be tough.
They should get into the playoffs, but it won't be easy.
An embarrassing defeat at the hands of New England on Sunday displayed that they may have troubles competing in the postseason.
Big win for the Eagles in Dallas, and next week they travel to the East Rutherford for a showdown with the Giants that could be for the NFC East title.
They can score with anyone and their young defense is improving each week.
New York Giants
It'd be shocking if the Giants couldn't at least make the wild card, and with their injury-plagued receiving corp slowly getting healthy, New York could be a dark horse in the NFC playoffs.
Josh Freeman once again showed he's got the clutch-gene, and the relatively anonymous defense keeps teams out of the end zone.
They're 50-50 to make the playoffs at this point—a game out of the last wild card spot—but if they squeeze in they could get at least one victory.
Green Bay Packers
Their offense is consistent every Sunday, but with Aaron Rodgers' second concussion and the lack of a running game, Packers fans should worry.
They aren't guaranteed to make the postseason. If they get in and are healthy, they could wreak some havoc.
St. Louis Rams
The Rams get two of their last three at home, and if they rely on Steven Jackson and make some timely plays on defense, they could win the NFC West.
But could they win in the postseason?
Probably not.
They host the Rams in Week 17, but with games against the Falcons and Buccaneers ahead, the season finale may not even matter.
They need to get hot, fast, if they want to make a playoff push.
They're hanging on to dear life in the playoff race, but if Alex Smith has more performances like he did this week, they could win the ugliest division crown in quite some time.
Too inconsistent to win in the postseason.
