Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos Are Not the Best Fit
In the 2010 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos traded their second-, third-, and fourth-round picks to acquire the 25th pick in the first round from the Baltimore Ravens.
With this pick the Broncos selected Tim Tebow. The Florida quarterback is considered one of the greatest college football players ever, but his style of play is not one typically suited for the NFL.
The Broncos have shown an intent to use Tebow as a pocket quarterback and as a goal-line specialist. Tebow is now the second-string quarterback behind former Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton and ahead of quarterback Brady Quinn.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With Orton playing very well this season, Tebow's chances of taking over as the starter are not very good. But after trading so much to acquire him, the Broncos are in a situation where they must make a decision on his future quickly.
Earlier this week Denver fired head coach Josh McDaniels, the man who drafted Tebow. With McDaniels gone, it will be interesting to see how Tebow fits into the offense.
Denver already has a solid running game with Knowshon Moreno having a much better sophomore season than his rookie one.
Tebow's below-average passing skills, combined with the existence of a stable ground game, make his services expendable.
In six games this season, Tebow has scored four touchdowns: throwing one pass for a three-yard score against Kansas City and rushing for a touchdown in games against the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tebow has shown signs he can be a quality NFL quarterback, but Denver is not a good fit for him. He does have value, and quite a few teams could use a change at quarterback.
His experience in big games and his ultra competitiveness make him a good choice as a starter in the NFL. Tebow is coachable and plays with a ton of energy, and every coach would love to have a guy like him.
The Denver Broncos made a good choice to draft Tim Tebow because he's a good player, but the Broncos are not a good fit.
