Pedro Feliciano Will Talk With New York Yankees This Week

"The Yankees will meet with the representatives for free-agent lefty reliever Pedro Feliciano this week.
"
We heard earlier today that in response to the Red Sox acquiring left-handed first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, the Yankees were increasing their efforts to sign a lefty reliever. Feliciano, 34, is a perfect situational lefty.

Last season he held lefties to a .211 batting average and a 1.09 WHIP. Throughout his career, Feliciano has held lefties to a .214 average and 1.06 WHIP. He also boasts a 10.1 K/9 rate against lefties during his career.
There is no word on how serious the talks were with the Yankees, but this is the second time we’ve heard him connected to them this offseason, so chances are their interest in him is pretty real.
