Fantasy Football Week 13: 20 Sleeper Point Studs To Lock Up Playoff Spot
With Fantasy playoffs coming up, there are still guys available that could make or break your Fantasy Football seasons.
Here are some sleepers that could still be available in some leagues, especially deeper leagues.
Is there someone else you are targeting in your leagues? Let us know.
20. Jordan Shipley WR Cincinnati
1 of 20
Jordan Shipley has started to really come into his own as a member of the Bengals late in this season.
The next few weeks the Bengals play teams that haven't been that great in pass coverage this season, and with so much attention being paid to Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco, look for Shipley to have a break out game one of the next few weeks.
Week 13 Projection: 11 points
19. Kerry Collins QB Tennessee
2 of 20
The only reason why Kerry Collins isn't higher on this list is because the Titans have not announced if he will play this Sunday against Jacksonville.
If Collins does play, he already has played with Randy Moss so he could have an impact on how Randy Moss plays this week.
Week 13 Projection: 14 (if he plays)
18. Derek Hagan WR NY Giants
3 of 20
With all the injuries amassed by the Giants receivers this season, Eli Manning is in need of some receivers to step up aside from Mario Manningham.
Hagan seems like a natural fit to play in the Giants system and could be a good target for Manning.
Week 13 Projection: 12 points
17. Blair White WR Indianapolis
4 of 20
Doesn't it seem like Peyton Manning has a different wide receiver every year that he turns from a no name to a well known player?
This year that person has to be Blair White. And for the Colts to win their division, Peyton is going to throw the ball a lot; White will be one of the beneficiaries of the added passes.
Week 13 Projection: 13 points
16. Chris Ivory RB New Orelans
5 of 20
With injuries to Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush slowing the Saints running game, Chris Ivory has gotten a chance to carry the load for New Orleans.
Reggie Bush is back now but don't expect him to cut into Ivory's carries.
Week 13 Projection: 13 points
15. Danny Amendola WR St. Louis
6 of 20
Danny Amendola has become a favorite target of Sam Bradford this year due in large part to a depleted receiving corps for the Rams.
With Arizona looming on the schedule for the Rams this week, Amendola could have a career game against a bad Cardinals team.
Week 13 Projection: 13 points
14. Jason Avant WR Philadelphia
7 of 20
With the emergence of both Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson, many teams are double teaming the Eagles best two receivers. That leaves a lot of single coverage for Jason Avant.
Throw in the fact that he is supposed to have the best hands on the team and he should be getting a lot of Michael Vick passes his way.
Week 13 Projection: 14 points
13. Toby Gerhart RB Minnesota
8 of 20
Toby Gerhart hasn't had the impact that many thought he would coming into this season as the back up for Adrian Peterson. However, Gerhart's role could be increasing after he got a bulk of the carries last week after Peterson tweaked an ankle.
If Peterson remains slowed by that ankle, Gerhart could have a huge impact from here on out.
Week 13 Projection: 14 points
12. Earl Bennett WR Chicago
9 of 20
Earl Bennett had his break out game against the Eagles after catching two touchdown passes. This week the Bears are going up against the lowly Lions.
I expect Bennett to carry on his momentum to this game, and he could end up being Jay Cutler's favorite target from here on out.
Week 13 Projection: 14 points
11. Jacoby Ford WR Oakland
10 of 20
Jacoby Ford has two 100-yard games in the last three weeks. This tells me that he is really making a leap for Oakland.
Things don't get easy for Ford this week going up against the Charger's top ranked passing defense, but that is why Ford is just out of the top 10.
Week 13 Projection: 14 points
10. Tashard Choice RB Dallas
11 of 20
With Marion Barber expected to miss the next few weeks with an injury, Tashard Choice has a chance to make an impact for the revitalized Cowboys offense.
Choice will be sharing carries with Felix Jones, but Choice is a better option as an every down back, and he is available in most leagues.
Week 13 Projection: 14 points
9. Davone Bess WR Miami
12 of 20
Davone Bess has been an under the radar wide receiver all season, and after getting his first 100-yard game of the season last week, he seems to be on the rise.
This week Miami hosts Cleveland in a game where Bess could really have a big impact.
Week 13 Projection: 15 points
8. Brian Westbrook RB San Francisco
13 of 20
With the injury to Frank Gore, Brian Westbrook is expected to carry the load for the rest of the season in San Francisco.
Don't expect the same output that he had against Arizona on Monday night but expect some good production, especially as a receiver out of the backfield.
Week 13 Projection: 15 points
7. Nate Washington WR Tennessee
14 of 20
The only reason Nate Washington hasn't been a consistent starter in most fantasy leagues has more to do with the instability around him and less to do with his potential as a top flight receiver.
With Collins likely back and a questionable Jaguars secondary facing him this week, Washington will have a good bounce back game this week.
Week 13 Projection: 16 points
6. Chad Henne QB Miami
15 of 20
Chad Henne has had some shaky moments this year, however after throwing for over 300 yards last week and with Cleveland on the schedule this week, Henne could get rolling for the Dolphins.
If quarterback is a real need for you, Henne is one option, but he should only be a last resort if some other options aren't available.
Week 13 Projection: 17 points
5. Derek Anderson QB Arizona
16 of 20
Now I know Derek Anderson has been terrible this year, and I know he went a little crazy in his postgame press conference on Monday night, but he actually had a decent game against the 49ers.
With the Rams coming to town this week, Anderson could be turning back the clock to Week 1 where he had one of his best games this season against a young Rams secondary.
Week 13 Projection: 18 points
4. Mike Goodson RB Carolina
17 of 20
Mike Goodson has been a welcomed sight for the Panthers this year. He has two 100-yard games in the last three weeks.
This week the Panthers travel to Seattle who has a tendency to play well at home, but they have not been a great run defense this year.
Week 13 Projection: 18 points
3. Jon Kitna QB Dallas
18 of 20
Jon Kitna has been doing his best Tony Romo impression the past few weeks under new head coach Jason Garrett.
This week Dallas travels to Indianapolis, and if last week was any indication of the pass defense the Colts have, I think Kitna could have huge numbers against Indy.
Week 13 Projection: 20 points
2. Matt Cassel QB Kansas City
19 of 20
Matt Cassel, let me introduce you to Dwayne Bowe. He is a top NFL receiver. If you throw him the ball, you will win. This is the conversation I am pretty sure Cassel had with his coaches a few weeks ago because the two of these guys have been on fire.
In his last three weeks, Cassel has 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. This week he goes against a bad Denver defense and could throw for 500 if he isn't taken out at halftime.
Week 13 Projection: 25 points
1. Sam Bradford QB St. Louis
20 of 20
Sam Bradford is having one of the best rookie seasons for any quarterback in NFL history. Since Week 6, he has a 11-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio.
This week the Rams face the Cardinals this week who made Troy Smith look like a good NFL starter. And let me just say that Smith is no Bradford.
Week 13 Projection: 27 points
