Brandon GalvinDec 2, 2010

The sixth seed in the East, the Atlanta Thrashers, produced the most hot players this week as three of their players sneak onto the list with excellent numbers.

Patrick Sharp enjoyed a fantastic week, helping the Chicago Blackhawks and all of his fantasy owners. He is on pace to shatter last year's goal totals.

Which players exceeded expectations this week and have a good chance to keep it going?

In the past week, Pavelec has been fantastic.

He has won his past three starts, including one shutout to boot. In those three starts, he is averaging .99 goals against him with a .969 save percentage.

With six straight wins, Pavelec is worth a look if he is available on your waiver wire.

Tobias Enstrom, Atlanta Thrashers Defenseman

Enstrom performed extremely well for his fantasy owners, filling multiple categories from the defenseman position. On just five shot attempts, Enstrom was able to convert one into a goal.

Enstrom’s biggest contribution was his three assists and being plus-four for the week. Make sure to keep Enstrom in your lineups.

More importantly, Byfuglien has five assists and is plus-five for the week.

Playing for one of the most talented teams certainly helps.

Sharp was on point this week, filling up the stat line.

Sharp had three assists and three goals on 11 shot attempts. He was also plus-six for the week.

Sharp is having a fantastic season with 16 goals thus far compared to 25 all last season.

One of the top fantasy players in the game is back atop the hot list.

On just eight shot attempts this week, he has converted two of them into goals. He also has four assists on his way to plus-two this week. Backstrom always seems to get it done and didn’t disappoint one bit this week.
