Frank FittipaldiDec 1, 2010

Start 'Em

Mark Sanchez, New York Jets

New York Jet's quarterback Mark Sanchez is a great start for Week 13 in one of the biggest games of the year. Sanchez and the Jets travel to New England this coming Monday night to take on the Patriots for first place. The Patriots defense is last in the league against the pass giving up nearly 290 yards per game. The Patriots have also given up 21 touchdown passes.

  • Week 2 matchup: 21 for 30, 220 yards, three touchdowns

Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos

Kyle Orton and the Broncos will meet the Chiefs in Week 13 and this is a great matchup for Orton. These two teams met in Week 10 in a 49-29 blowout win for the Broncos. Orton threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns in their first meeting.

Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs

Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs  will hope to get some revenge against the Broncos in Week 13 after their embarrassing Week 10 loss. The Bronocs are giving up over 140 rushing yards per game and have given up the most rushing touchdowns with 16. Charles is the NFL's second leading rusher so he is a must-start this week.

Mike Tolbert, San Diego Chargers

In another AFC West matchup, Mike Tolbert and the Chargers are home against the Oakland Raiders in Week 13. The Raiders are 28th in the league against the run and Tolbert is coming off back-to-back 100-yard rushing games. Tolbert has scored in two straight weeks and he will try to make it three this Sunday.

Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs

Dwayne Bowe is the hottest receiver in the NFL and his hot streak will continue in Week 13. Bowe had a monster game in the Chiefs' first meeting with the Broncos when he caught 13 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Bowe is coming off a three-touchdown game in Week 12 and nothing can slow him down right now.

Bowe is a lock for a big game this Sunday.

Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts

Reggie Wayne and the Colts will look to get back on track this week at home against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are 23rd against the pass and have given up 23 touchdown passes so Wayne should have a big day. Wayne has battled some injuries but he has been able to play through them so owners should not be concerned.

After a poor outing against the Chargers, look for Wayne to bounce back in Week 13.

Sit 'Em

Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals

Carson Palmer and the Bengals are home against the New Orleans in Week 13 and face another tough defense. The Saints against the pass having given up the least touchdown passes in the league with seven. Palmer and the Bengals have struggled and those struggles will continue this Sunday.

Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens

The Raven's running back Ray Rice has not had a 100-yard rushing game since Week 5 and he certainly will not have one this Sunday. The Ravens are home against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13, the No. 1 ranked rush defense in the NFL. Rice will also have trouble finding the end zone being the Steelers have only given up four rushing touchdowns.

BenJarvus Green Ellis, New England Patriots

BenJarvus  Green-Ellis has had himself a nice season, but he will face a tough test in Week 13 against the fourth ranked rush defense, the New York Jets. In their Week 2 matchup, Green-Ellis carried the ball just 10 times for only 19 yards. Since then, Green-Ellis has scored nine touchdowns but he will have a tough time finding the end zone against the Jets, who have only given up six rushing touchdowns.

Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders

Oakland Raiders' running back Darren McFadden has had a solid year, but his last two games are certainly ones to forget. The former Razorback has totaled just 16 yards on the ground in his past two contests and Week 13 will be no easier. The Chargers are the third ranked rush defense, giving up just 81 yards on the ground per game.

Santana Moss, Washington Redskins

Washing Redskins' receiver Santana Moss will have a tough time getting in rhythm in Week 13 as they take on the New York Giants, the No. 1 ranked pass defense. Both Moss and quarterback Donovan McNabb will struggle this week so it will be wise to stay away from Moss.

Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh Steelers

Mike Wallace totaled just two catches for 24 yards in his first matchup with the Ravens. The Ravens have the seventh best pass defense in the league and judging from Wallace's first game, he will have a tough time finding success this Sunday.

Stay away from Wallace in Week 13.
