Fantasy Football: Brandon Marshall and the Injury Updates for Week 12

Frank FittipaldiNov 27, 2010

Brandon Marshall, Miami Dolphins

Dolphins' wide receiver Brandon Marshall suffered a hamstring injury in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. He has missed practice all week and has been declared out for Week 12 at Oakland. Hamstring injuries are nagging so this could affect Marshall for a couple of weeks.

Try to find a replacement on the waiver wire or your bench.

Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers

The Chargers' tight end has been dealing with a foot injury and has been unable to play his last two games. Gates is listed as questionable for the big Sunday night showdown against the Indianapolis Colts. The Chargers are hoping he will be able to play as this is one of the biggest games of the year.

Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants

Giants' wide receiver is suffering from compartment syndrome in his lower leg and the timetable on his return is three weeks. He has obviously been ruled out for Week 12 against the Jaguars. His presence will be missed for the Giants and fantasy owners for the next three weeks of the season.

Mike Williams, Seattle Seahawks

Mike Williams, who is dealing with a foot injury, will be a game-time decision this Sunday. Williams has not practiced all week. This injury has been referred to as a foot strain and from the looks of it, there is a good chance Williams will not play Sunday against the Chiefs.

Williams had a protective boot on his foot on Friday.

Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts

Reggie Wayne is dealing with a knee injury, but he is expected to play despite being listed as questionable. The Colts will need Wayne this Sunday night against the Chargers because the Colts need to get back on track.

Unless you hear otherwise, keep Wayne in the lineup.
