Fantasy Football Week 12 Rankings: Thanksgiving Week Start 'Em Sit 'Em
Here's an early happy Thanksgiving.
The fantasy football playoffs get closer and closer each week.
Take heed of this Thanksgiving message: Every game counts from here on in.
You're either fighting for a higher seed in the playoffs or taking the role as spoiler. Either way, pride's still on the line.
Here are 10 players and if you should play or bench them in Week 12.
5. Sit Ben Roethlisberger
1 of 10
Against the Bills? The Bills actually have a top 10 pass defense this season.
How, you ask? Their run defense is the worst in the league. Rashard Mendenhall will be able to run up and down the field on Sunday.
The Bills won't slow down Big Ben, but Mendenhall will.
4. Sit Chicago Defense
2 of 10
With Michael Vick back in the starting lineup, the Eagles have put up 112 points in their last three games.
This is nothing against the Bears, but no one can slow the Eagles down right now.
3. Sit Fred Jackson
3 of 10
Owners, don't get too excited because Fred Jackson put together a couple of great games in a row.
Every running back's success comes to an end when he faces the Pittsburgh Steelers.
2. Sit Chad Ochocinco
4 of 10
This benching isn't just because Darrelle Revis is a shutdown cornerback.
Bench Ochocinco because in this rivalry, he always loses.
He had three catches for 28 yards in the two games where he matched up against Revis last season.
1. Sit Joe Flacco
5 of 10
Flacco hasn't lived up to high expectations this season.
Going up against the sixth-ranked pass defense in the league in Tampa Bay, he won't put up big numbers.
The Ravens will lean on the running game since the Buccaneers' run defense is just as bad as their pass defense is good.
5. Start Eli Manning
6 of 10
Don't be scared just because Manning doesn't have Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith to throw to.
The Jaguars' pass defense is a joke.
Mario Manningham is good enough to get the job done.
4. Start Matt Cassel
7 of 10
Kansas City will pass more often Sunday against Seattle, as their run defense is solid but their pass defense is horrible.
Drew Brees almost threw for 400 yards last week against the Seahawks.
Even Matt Cassel will be able to put up good numbers.
3. Start Randy Moss
8 of 10
Sure, Rusty Smith is the Tennessee Titans' starting quarterback, but if it wasn't for a pass interference call, Smith would have thrown Moss his first touchdown as a Titan last week.
Plus, going up against the league's worst pass defense in the Houston Texans is the perfect time for a rookie sixth-round pick to have his NFL debut.
2. Start Shaun Hill
9 of 10
Shaun Hill has been able to put up solid numbers this season.
Against the Patriots' second to worst pass defense, he should be able to put up more than solid numbers Thursday.
1. Start Cleveland Defense
10 of 10
The Browns are going up against Carolina, which has the worst offense in the league by far.
They are last in the league in points scored and yardage gained. Not only that, they give up plenty of sacks and are turnover-prone.
Talk about a must start.
