Week 12 Fantasy Football Running Backs: Who To Pick Up, Drop and Ignore
Fantasy football playoffs are coming up quickly. Every win and point counts right now for many of you wishing to make the cut or clinch a spot, or even if you won't make it but want to play spoiler to someone.
Two reminders this week before we start.
First, in leagues which have yet to see the trade deadlines pass, they should be coming up quick.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Secondly, remember there are three games on Thanksgiving. Detroit plays New England, Dallas plays New Orleans, and the Jets play the Bengals. All six of these teams have fantasy relevant players, so make sure your line-ups are set before you leave for grandma's turkey and pumpkin pie.
Here we go with running backs of note as we head into Week 12.
Pick-Ups
Keiland Williams, Washington Redskins
Clinton Portis quickly re-injured his groin and might be out for the rest of the season. Ryan Torain is still ailing. Williams will see a lot of action.
Add him. He is still out there in 62 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
Danny Woodhead, New England Patriots
Little Danny seems to become a bigger and bigger part of the Patriots offense each week in both passing and running.
He's still available in 28 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so grab him if you can.
Mike Goodson, Carolina Panthers
Carolina might just have a fantasy player now.
Goodson totalled 151 yards on Sunday, 121 of them rushing. This is his second 100-yard rushing game in a row.
He is still available in 68 percent of Yahoo! leagues and could be a good play from here.
Ignore
Maurice Morris, Detroit Lions
With injuries in the Detroit ground game, Morris looks to gain the lion's share of the carries in coming weeks.
That won't mean much, however. Likely, many other options on the wire for you.
Cadillac Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Yes, he had a score. He also only had seven carries to LeGarrette Blount's 26 touches.
The Bucs have obviously moved toward Blount going forward.
Drop/Trade Bait
Clinton Portis, Washington Redskins
As I'd predicted last week, Portis is already hurt again, this time likely for the rest of the year.
Jahvid Best, Detroit Lions
This one pains me, as I've held onto Best through this whole turf toe problem, hoping he'd bounce back to the guy who went nuts out there earlier this year.
It's clear now that his touches are only going to decrease or even that he'll be pulled altogether.
Time to look for other options.
