NFL Injury Report Week 11: Latest on Brett Favre, Chad Henne, Reggie Bush & More
All that's left is tonight's game between Philadelphia and Washington. Then it's onto Week 11.
But this week's round of NFL games also produced more injuries for teams throughout the league. If you're into fantasy football, this brings about nothing but frustration. And many sit and hope key players are just out for a few weeks and come back quickly to help their teams.
That definitely is the case for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which lost receiver Hines Ward to a concussion in Sunday night's loss to New England.
Ward isn't the only one to watch.
Let's take a quick look at who's out, bruised up and who should be back this weekend:
10. Brett Favre
1 of 10
Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress said today that Favre is sore and won't need an MRI on his throwing shoulder. He'll play Sunday against Green Bay.
ESPN reported that Favre was dealing with shoulder soreness Saturday, but team doctors have ruled out any need for an MRI.
Favre threw for 170 yards, and a touchdown, but also had an interception in Sunday's 27-13 loss to Chicago.
9. Chad Henne

The Miami Dolphins quarterback was on crutches after Sunday's 29-17 win over Tennessee with a knee injury.
There is no update yet as to his status.
Henne (pictured) entered the game after starter Chad Pennington was lost on the team's first series with a right shoulder injury. Tyler Thigpen, the third-string quarterback, eventually replaced Henne and is expected to start Thursday against Chicago.
Henne completed 19-of-28 passes for 240 yards on Sunday, with one touchdown and one interception.
8. Josh Cribbs
3 of 10
The Cleveland Browns receiver injured his foot after a 37 yard reception from Colt McCoy in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
The news is rather gruesome: The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Cribbs dislocated every toe except the big toe on his right foot.
Cribbs could still play Sunday against Jacksonville.
7. Mark Sanchez
4 of 10
The New York Jets quarterback injured his right calf in Sunday's 26-20 overtime victory over the Cleveland Browns, but the New York Daily News reports that Sanchez will play against the Houston Texans this week.
Sanchez threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, including a game-winning 37 yard touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes with 16 seconds left in overtime.
6. David Garrard
5 of 10
The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback is clear, and X-rays show he didn't injure his clavicle, reports the Florida Times-Union.
Garrard suffered a crushing hit from Houston defensive end Mark Anderson in the first quarter of Sunday's AFC South matchup. Garrard was able to keep playing, and finished with 342 yards passing including a game-winning Hail Mary pass to Mike Thomas on the game's final play.
Jacksonville won 31-24.
5. Hines Ward
6 of 10
The Steelers star receiver took a shot to head, and left Sunday night's game with New England with what was first called a neck injury.
But coach Mike Tomlin admitted it was a concussion after the 39-26 loss. Tomlin said he'll undergo tests and is still undecided whether he'll play against Oakland.
4. Reggie Bush
7 of 10
The New Orleans Saints will return from a bye week with some much needed rest and their talented running back.
Bush has been out since fracturing a bone in his right leg in the second week of the season. He told the Associated Press he expects to play when the Saints face the Seattle Seahawks, which would pit Bush against his former college coach Pete Carroll.
3. Jimmy Clausen
8 of 10
The Panthers rookie quarterback is uncertain for this week's game with Baltimore after sustaining a concussion in Sunday's 31-16 loss to Tampa Bay.
Carolina has already lost quarterback Matt Moore to a season-ending right shoulder injury.
If Clausen can't play, Carolina will turn to rookie Tony Pike, a sixth-round pick drafted out of the University of Cincinnati.
2. Mike Jenkins
9 of 10
The Dallas Cowboys cornerback left Sunday's game against the Giants with a neck injury.
He was replaced by Bryan McCann, whose 101-yard interception return gave the Cowboys a 16-3 lead.
Jenkins wasn't the only player Dallas lost, as fellow cornerback Terence Newman left in the first quarter with an apparent left ankle injury.
1. Clinton Portis

The Washington Redskins running back has been out since Week 4 with a groin injury and is listed as inactive for tonight's game with Philadelphia.
Look for Ryan Torain to get the start in the backfield.
