Opponent Defensive Ranks

Washington Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 31st - TDs Allowed T-24th

Washington Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 18th – TDs Allowed T-3rd

Philadelphia Offensive Cast

Michael Vick (QB Week 10 Ranking: No. 3) 2010 Season: 76/125 – for 1,017 yards & seven TDs || 36 carries for 261 yards & two TDs

To compare Vick to anybody else who has ever played the game is pretty much unfair at this point.  If I had to, I’d say Vick is a lot like watching Gale Sayers with a cannon for an arm.  Love him or hate him, the guy is as fun to watch as anyone in the game… especially if you have him on your fantasy team.

Kevin Kolb (QB Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 97/153 – for 1,035 yards & six TDs

I expect Kolb to get back in there at some point this year, but it won’t be this week.  Keep him stashed on your bench for now.

LeSean McCoy (RB Week 10 Ranking: No. 12) 2010 Season: 121 carries for 572 yards & five TDs || 41 receptions for 301 yards & zero TDs

The last time he faced the Redskins, he went off for 174 total yards.  He seems to enjoy playing with Vick as his QB as the offense opens up with him under center, so feel free to play him as an RB1 against an inner-division foe like Washington.

DeSean Jackson (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 6) 2010 Season: 26 receptions for 504 yards & four TDs

From what I can tell, the concussion DJax suffered a few weeks ago actually made him better!  The Redskins don’t have much in terms of a pass D, and DeAngelo Hall simply won’t be able to keep up with “The Green Blur”, so expect another explosive game out of the fastest WR in the league come Monday night.

Jeremy Maclin (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 23) 2010 Season: 34 receptions for 506 yards & six TDs

With DeSean Jackson returning to the lineup, Maclin can go back to doing what he does best… feeding off of single-coverage all game long.  The Redskins give up the second most yards passing yards per game in the NFL, so Maclin shouldn’t have a problem reeling in a good chunk of them.

Jason Avant (WR Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 26 receptions for 281 yards & zero TDs

DJax is back in full force, so Avant becomes basically useless again.

Brent Celek (TE Week 10 Ranking: No. 15) 2010 Season: 21 receptions for 229 yards & two TDs

Brent is one of the biggest disappointments as a fantasy tight end this year, but one of his two touchdowns on the season did come against the Redskins back in Week 4, so there’s a little hope for him in this game.

Washington Redskins (Redskins Schedule)

Opponent Defensive Ranks

Philadelphia Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 15th - TDs Allowed T-24th

Philadelphia Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 13th – TDs Allowed T-15th

Washington Offensive Cast

Donovan McNabb (QB Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 159/277 – for 1,971 yards & seven TDs

McNabb sure is taking his sweet time in nabbing that first 2-TD passing game this year.  Don’t expect too much from ol’ McNasty this week.

Ryan Torain (RB Week 10 Ranking: No. 21) 2010 Season: 91 carries for 391 yards & three TDs || Eight receptions for 55 yards & one TD

This ranking is completely dependent on Torain being healthy this week.  Obviously, if he’s not, sit him again and move Keiland Williams down to around the 30-slot or so in the rankings.  If he plays, though, he did well against the Eagles in their first outing, so there is no reason to think he won’t do so again.

Clinton Portis (RB Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 49 carries for 195 yards & two TDs || Four receptions for 41 yards & zero TDs

Portis may play this week, but he won’t be worth anything fantasy-wise just yet.

Keiland Williams (RB Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 10 carries for 38 yards & one TD || 14 receptions for 85 yards & one TD

If Torain ends up too banged up to go and Portis stays inactive one more week, put Williams around the 30-spot in the rankings and maybe take a chance on him if you’re desperate.

Santana Moss (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 35) 2010 Season: 48 receptions for 604 yards & two TDs

With the way Santana is playing this year, I’d normally have him much higher in my rankings.  However, Asante Samuel will be shadowing him all Monday night, so you can’t expect his normal numbers.  Actually, maybe not even close.

Anthony Armstrong (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 41) 2010 Season: 17 receptions for 368 yards & one TD

With Asante Samuel likely on Santana Moss the entire game, Armstrong has a chance to make some noise seeing that he’ll be one of the main targets for McNabb in this matchup.

Chris Cooley (TE Week 10 Ranking: No. 7) 2010 Season: 39 receptions for 440 yards & two TDs

Cooley is getting the targets (2nd among tight ends with 61), but TDs have been scarce with him all year long.  He did, however, score one of his two on the season against the Eagles earlier this year, and we all saw what Jacob Tamme did to Philly last weekend, so Cooley certainly looks worth a play this Monday night.
