Fantasy Football Week 11: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Advice
Before we kick off week 11 Thursday night in Miami, lets take a look at who you, the fantasy football owner, should be starting or sitting out of your lineup.
Week 11 should provide several favorable match ups for many fantasy players, and some tough ones for others.
Join Bleacher Report as we take you through a quick rundown of the best starts and sits this week in Fantasy Football.
Start Em: Calvin Johnson
1 of 10
The Lions are on the road this week, in Dallas to take on the Cowboys. What does that mean for Calvin Johnson? Plenty of opportunities for big plays against a dismal Dallas secondary.
Look for Johnson to wear out the Cowboy's defense, after all he is averaging a touchdown per game and is currently the fifth leading fantasy scorer in ESPN's Fantasy Football.
Sit Em: Darren McFadden
2 of 10
McFadden has had an MVP worthy season thus far, but he has yet to face the dominant Steeler defense.
Pittsburgh is ranked first in the league against the run, allowing under 60 rushing yards per game. Unless you don't have anyone else on your bench, try sitting Darren McFadden on Sunday.
Start Em: Peyton Hillis
3 of 10
The fullback slash running back takes his game on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars and one of the worst defenses in the league.
Hillis has run wild all season long, including two huge games against the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy owners, if you weren't planning on starting Hillis anyways, please do so now.
Sit Em: Michael Vick
4 of 10
The Eagles are home to the bitter New York Giants on Sunday, fresh off a home loss to the lowly Cowboys, and Michael Vick's explosion might take a back seat to the G-Men defense.
Vick has been solid when he has played this season, but don't get caught up in last week's performance.
This week might just be the week he falls, sit Vick in place of a quarterback with a better match up.
Start Em: LaDainian Tomlinson
5 of 10
Tomlinson has found fresh legs in New York and on Sunday he and the Jets are home to the Houston Texans, proud owners of one of the league's worst defenses.
L.T. has been pretty pedestrian the past few weeks, but he is due for a big game Sunday, especially if Rex Ryan wants to prove the Jets can run the football.
Sit Em: Donovan McNabb
6 of 10
McNabb and the Redskins will be in Tennessee this week taking on the Titans. McNabb and the Redskins have moved the ball at times, but McNabb is throwing incompletions rather than touchdowns this season.
Sit McNabb unless he's your only respectable quarterback on your roster.
Start Em: James Jones
7 of 10
With Donald Driver injured and Greg Jennings getting most of the attention from the Vikings defense, look to start Packer's wide out James Jones on Sunday.
Jones is a excellent possession receiver in the Packers passing attack and is a lock for a solid game on Sunday.
Sit Em: Brett Favre
8 of 10
Staying with the Packers and Vikings game, Brett Favre was wrecked last time he suited up against the Green Bay defense, throwing three interceptions and falling short on the road.
Favre's Vikings are 3-6, the locker room is crumbling around them, and a productive Sunday seems all but impossible.
Start Em: Willis McGahee
9 of 10
McGahee is the man for the Ravens when they get into goal line situations. He has four rushing touchdowns this season and is averaging four yards per carry on the ground in addition to 5.5 yards per catch.
Start McGahee this week against the pitiful Panthers.
Sit Em: Sam Bradford
10 of 10
Sam Bradford and the Rams are home to the surging Falcons this week. Bradford has been a good story so far this season as the draft's number one overall pick, but the Falcons defense has stiffened the past few weeks.
Bradford might not be the best start for your fantasy team on Sunday, bench him if you can.
