Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Jacksonville Pass Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 28th; TDs Allowed T-29th
Jacksonville Rush Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 22nd; TDs Allowed 31st
Houston Offensive Cast
Matt Schaub (QB Week 10 Ranking: No. 6) 2010 Season: 170/267 for 2,006 yards and 10 TDs
Schaub clearly isn’t the same QB he was last year, but a fat game against one of the worst pass Ds in the league is all he needs to get back on track. The two times he faced a bottom-tier pass D this season (Washington and Kansas City), he averaged 401 yards and 2.5 TDs/game. Jacksonville is worse than BOTH those defenses, so look for a nice game out of “Glass Joe” this Sunday.
Arian Foster (RB Week 10 Ranking: No. 2) 2010 Season: 157 carries for 864 yards and nine TDs; 32 receptions for 315 yards and one TD
The only reason Foster doesn’t get top billing this week against a Jaguars defense that couldn’t stop my mother from gaining a yard on an A-Gap run is because Peterson is the beast that he is. Otherwise, Foster is your guy. Period. Jacksonville’s defense is a sieve.
Andre Johnson (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 5) 2010 Season: 43 receptions for 635 yards and three TDs
The only reason I have ‘Dre down this far against a woeful Jaguars pass defense is because Jacksonville is so familiar with him. In fact, Johnson hasn’t had a 100-yard game against the Jags since Week 7 of the 2006 season (seven games ago) while averaging just 71.3 yards on five catches a game during that time. However, you can’t hold talent like his down for too long, especially when you have one of the bottom-five defenses in the league.
Kevin Walter (WR Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 22 receptions for 266 yards and three TDs
Walter moves to the back of the line with Jacoby Jones' return to the field.
Jacoby Jones (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 48) 2010 Season: 24 receptions for 237 yards and one TD
Andre can't be the only receiver making some noise against the league's 28th-ranked pass D this weekend. Jacoby may have been a disappointment so far this year, but this has the makings of a game where he can turn that sentiment around.
Owen Daniels (TE Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 16 receptions for 200 yards and zero TDs
Owen is banged up yet again and will be sitting this one out.
Joel Dreessen (TE Week 10 Ranking: No. 9) 2010 Season: 13 receptions for 191 yards and two TDs
With Owen Daniels still sidelined with his hamstring injury, this will be a great opportunity for Dreessen to bust onto the fantasy scene. The Jaguars are tied for fifth-worst in the league against tight ends, so with Joel accruing eight targets, five catches and 66 yards last weekend, it looks as if he could be in for a big game.
Jacksonville Jaguars (Jaguars Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Houston Pass Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 32nd; TDs Allowed 32nd
Houston Rush Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 11th; TDs Allowed T-15th
Jacksonville Offensive Cast
David Garrard (QB Week 10 Ranking: No. 12) 2010 Season: 101/149 for 1,098 yards and 13 TDs
I’m STILL flabbergasted by what Garrard did to the Cowboys two weeks ago. That said, this Houston pass D is even worse, so to think he'll put up any less would be ignorant. With MJD still a force to be reckoned with, you can bet the field will be wide open for the Jags to move the ball through the air this Sunday.
Trent Edwards (QB Week 10 Ranking: Not ranked) 2010 Season: 14/24 for 140 yards and zero TDs
Nope, nothing doin’ here.
Maurice Jones-Drew (RB Week 10 Ranking: No. 7) 2010 Season: 162 carries for 645 yards and one TD; 19 receptions for 153 yards and two TDs
Houston is as porous as it gets, and it’s not just through the air anymore (though they are still last in that category). The whole defense is overcooked macaroni oozing through a Walmart-bought strainer, while MJD is just the type of running back to take advantage. Super-strong, yet small and agile. One hundred-plus yards and a TD sound about right.
Mike Sims-Walker (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 17) 2010 Season: 29 receptions for 392 yards and four TDs
When Garrard is on, Sims-Walker is a beast (as he showed last game against the Cowboys—eight catches, 153 yards and a TD). Both these guys should be on top of their game this Sunday going up against easily the worst pass D in the entire NFL.
Mike Thomas (WR Week 10 Ranking: No. 39) 2010 Season: 33 receptions for 387 yards and one TD
Thomas is much more of a fantasy threat in PPR leagues than anything else, but against the worst pass defense in the league, he might be worth taking a chance on no matter what type of league you play in.
Marcedes Lewis (TE Week 10 Ranking: No. 6) 2010 Season: 25 receptions for 326 yards and seven TDs
Marcedes normally doesn’t get enough targets or catches to be worth this high of a ranking, but against the league’s worst pass defense, you never know. His fantasy scoring comes in bunches, so take the chance this week on the 6’6”, 275-lb monster.
