The Austin Collie injury is the talk of the NFL this morning, and get ready to hear it debated all week long as the topic of helmet-to-helmet hits is discussed.

The hit happened late in the first half as Collie went deep over the middle and Manning found him with a perfect pass.

Walt Coleman came over the top, and he and Collie made helmet-to-helmet contact. Collie lost the ball and did not move once he hit the ground. Play was stopped immediately as trainers ran onto the field to tend to the wideout.

It's always frightening when you don't see a player move on the field.

Collie was taken off the field on a stretcher and didn't show any signs of movement on the field as people feared the worst about his condition.

Shortly after, word came up that the Colts believed that Collie only had a concussion and that he was unconscious for a period of time on the field. The wideout was sitting up and alert in the locker room according to the television broadcast.

Collie is lucky to have only walked away from that with a concussion.
