Weekly Review
Monday (1/1): The Rangers started November off with a bang as they defeated the former Stanley Cup Champions, the Chicago Black Hawks. The Rangers played a strong all-around game as they won by a score of 3-2.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
Thursday (1/4): The Rangers sought revenge on their rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers, who eliminated them from a playoff berth on the last day of the 2009-10 regular season. The Rangers were not strong enough though and lost to the Flyers by a score of 4-1.
Friday (1/5): The Rangers took on their cross-river rivals the New Jersey Devils. Though the Rangers only totaled 20 shots on goal, they defeated the Devils by a score of 3-0.
Weekly Preview
The Rangers will begin a four-game home stand tonight when they take on the St. Louis Blues. After that they will host the Washington Capitals on Tuesday, the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday and the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
Rangers superstar forward Marian Gaborik told the media that he would like to begin playing again sometime this week. He said that he has a return date in mind, but he also admitted that he has a long way to go before he returns.
Ryan Callahan is expected back in the lineup tonight for the Rangers. If he is unable to play, Todd White will take his spot in the lineup.
Wolf Pack/Whale Weekly
Wednesday (11/3): The Wolf Pack surrendered another loss this season, as the Manchester Monarchs defeated the Wolf Pack by a score of 4-1. The lone Pack goal was scored by Justin Soryal.
Thursday (11/4): The Wolf Pack released goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris from his PTO contract (Pro Try-Out) and demoted him to their ECHL affiliate team, the Greenville Road Warriors.
Friday (11/5): Another loss for the Wolf Pack as they were once again defeated by the Monarchs. Mats Zuccarello scored a goal and an assist in the 3-2 loss, and Tim Kennedy chimed in with two assists.
Saturday (11/6): The Wolf Pack's losing streak would stretch to nine games after a loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Devin Didiomete scored the lone Pack goal in a 4-1 loss. The Wolf Pack are 0-7-2 in their last nine games.
The AHL announced that the Connecticut Whale will host an outdoor game in mid-February. The Wolf Pack are expected to make their name change sometime in the next two months. The Whale will host a full week of outdoor festivities before the game, in which they will host the Providence Bruins.
