WWE Smackdown 11/5/10 Review: Smackdown for Survival
Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio Went to a No Contest
Not a five-star match, but certainly good. It was solid and probably better than the main event, but I'll get to that later.
The only thing that bothered me was how slow-worked it was, but it was just to sell Edge's injury. It confused me why this match was first, but the Nexus interference made sense.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Hope we get to see this again in a feud, possibly come TLC.
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler def. JTG (Non-Title)
Lackluster, and something that definitely belongs on Superstars. It wasn't Ziggler, it was JTG, seeing that he is just not fit for singles competition.
The win was only filled to use the card, give Ziggler back some momentum and the ending meant nothing. But boy, but did I get excited when Kaitlyn arrived...
MVP def. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre (Triple-Threat to Determine the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship)
Decent, but could have been better. The botches kind of messed up the momentum, but at least it wasn't all domination with double-teams.
The fighting between Rhodes and McIntyre was a plus, and the finish was suspenseful and best part of the match.
The feud between Rhodes and McIntyre should continue, and I'm hoping for a title change for MVP next week to change up the mid-card.
Vickie Guerrero def. Katilyn
Did you expect anything more than "horrible?" This match was terrible, and it belonged on NXT, where most of these kind of matches take place.
When you put two "wrestlers" who can't wrestle for shit on Smackdown, what good does it do? And even when it was over, they just looked at each other and awkwardly walked away. Disappointing.
Tyler Reks def. Chris Masters
Yet another pointless match. It was only meant to further push Reks and to get the Smackdown audience used to him, but obviously, it isn't working.
He had NO reaction at all when he entered, so I just say throw him in the lower-card like everyone else. The only good part about this match was the devastating finish.
Edge, Kane, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Alberto Del Rio def. The Nexus
A fun match with some good moves, but nothing that really stood out. It was just hard to accept Team Smackdown since it's not like Kane's character to befriend the people he hates.
It gave Nexus more, but good, exposure, and getting used to Smackdown if they ever come back to feud with Undertaker. Mysterio's injury should hopefully tie in to Alberto Del Rio; if not, then it was weird.
Nice finish, and yet another momentum victory for Edge who is just riding up the company as hot as Randy Orton. It also helps build toward Survivor Series, so it helped accomplish building the feud.
Final Review
A forgettable show to say the least, with the opener and the ending the only good things about this show. Everything else belonged somewhere else, if at all.
Very few matches/rivalries have been announced for Survivor Series, so this show did nothing to build it up at all with the exception of Edge and Kane.
