Fantasy Football Week 9 Fallers: Donovan McNabb Crumbling
QB
Donovan McNabb, WAS
After McNabb was pulled for the two-minute drill in favor of Rex Grossman by Mike Shanahan, owners have to wonder what the future holds for McNabb in Washington.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It is evident that Shanahan has not been happy with his newly acquired quarterback. McNabb has played poorly for most of the season.
McNabb completed 17 of 30 passes (56.7 completion percentage) for 210 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Detroit.
The team has a bye this week to sort out the kinks and it is being reported that the team will actually work out former first overall failure JaMarcus Russell.
It is difficult to tell how McNabb will react fantasy wise. Perhaps this is the motivation he needs, but it is highly doubtful.
Other Notable Performances and Notes:
Matt Hasselbeck, SEA: 13 for 32 (40.6 completion percentage), 160 yards, INT
Mark Sanchez, NYJ: 16 for 38 (42.1 completion percentage), 256 yards, 2 INT
Aaron Rodgers, GB: 15 for 34 (44.1 completion percentage), 170 yards
Matt Moore, CAR: 23 for 37 (62.2 completion percentage), 194 yards, TD, 3 INT
Ben Roethlisberger, PIT: 17 for 28 (60.7 completion percentage), 195 yards, INT
Last Week’s Falling QB in Week 8:
Brett Favre, MIN: 22 for 32 (68.8 completion percentage), 259 yards, INT
RB
Tim Hightower, ARZ
Hightower was fantastic in the first three weeks with Beanie Wells injured.
However, Hightower’s costly fumbles during that week and the loss to Seattle has caused a major decline in playing time. The return of Beanie Wells also doesn’t help, as Wells is the better runner and has improved his pass blocking in his sophomore season.
Wells isn’t the most durable back, so Hightower is worth holding on to, but he cannot be inserted into any lineups until we notice a peak in his playing time and production.
Jonathan Stewart, CAR
Stewart has made the list before due to his terrible performance thus far.
Stewart was expected to finally shine against the Rams with DeAngelo Williams out. He carried the ball 14 times for 30 yards and caught one pass for eight yards.
Stewart turned in an abysmal performance when his team needed him most.
It is difficult to believe that Stewart will shake out of this funk after watching him this season. Stewart’s fantasy owners may have been a year too early.
Other Notable Performances and Notes:
Justin Forsett, SEA: 5 carries, 11 yards, 3 carries, 23 yards
Marshawn Lynch, SEA: 9 carries, 7 yards
Cadillac Williams, TB: 4 carries, 10 yards, 3 receptions, 26 yards
Shonn Greene, NYJ: 6 carries, 22 yards, 1 reception, 10 yards
Christopher Ivory, NO: 7 carries, 7 yards
Last Week’s Falling RBs in Week 8:
Ryan Mathews, SD: 15 carries, 43 yards, TD, 3 receptions, 11 yards
Ray Rice, BAL: BYE
WR
Randy Moss, MIN
It is being reported that Randy Moss is now homeless.
There are rumblings that Randy Moss will, in fact, be waived by the Minnesota Vikings.
Obviously, until Moss finds a new home, he is worthless for fantasy. Owners clearly need to hang on to their first or second round pick, but until we know where he is headed, he has to be downgraded for the future.
Chad Ochocinco, CIN
Ochocinco put up numbers for just the second time last week against a suspect Atlanta Falcons secondary.
Ochocinco was back to his disappointing ways against a better Dolphins secondary. He caught just three passes for 34 yards.
His partner in crime, Terrell Owens, continues to exceed expectations.
Defenses are shifting their attention to Ochocinco and would rather let Owens beat them. This is bad news for his fantasy owners.
Other Notable Performances and Notes:
Mike Wallace, PIT: 3 receptions, 43 yards
Santonio Holmes, NYJ: 3 receptions, 43 yards
Hines Ward, PIT: 3 receptions, 15 yards
Wes Welker, NE: 3 receptions, 24 yards
Braylon Edwards, NYJ: 1 receptions, 32 yards
Last Week’s Falling WRs in Week 8:
Larry Fitzgerald, ARZ: 6 receptions, 72 yards, 2 TD
Steve Smith, CAR: 9 receptions, 85 yards Fumble
TE
Zach Miller, OAK
Miller has been good for the most part this season, but it is being reported that he has a sore foot and is on crutches to open the week.
Miller laid an egg against a suspect Seattle secondary, catching just one pass for eight yards.
Miller is a vital part to the Raiders offense and coach Tom Cable expects him to play Week 9.
Still, owners need to be prepared for Miller to potentially sit or at least have a below average fantasy day.
Other Notable Performances and Notes:
Vernon Davis, SF: 1 reception, 12 yards
Heath Miller, PIT: 2 receptions, 39 yards, Fumble
Jermaine Gresham, CIN: 3 receptions, 17 yards
Owen Daniels, HOU: 1 reception, 8 yards
Kellen Winslow, TB: 1 reception, 5 yards
Last Week’s Falling TE in Week 8:
Tony Moeaki, KC: 3 receptions, 45 yards
