Kevin Nash Tosses His Hat in the Ring To End the Taker's Streak
Last night via Twitter, Big Daddy Cool Kevin Nash (@RealKevinNash) issued a challenge to the Undertaker and to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
"Vince let me in the Rumble if I win i get taker at mania. If I lose I'll join the kiss your ass club the next raw................DEAL?"
I've got to say that even though Kevin Nash isn't a spring chicken anymore I love this idea.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
For full disclosure here, I'm a Shawn Michaels mark, and a huge fan of anyone from the Kliq (with the exception of X-Pac), so I might be biased in my opinion of this.
However the feud that led up to Diesel versus the Undertaker at Wrestlemania XII was absolutely epic.
The mind games Taker played on Nash leading up to Mania were epic, including the coffin complete with Kevin Nash look alike and pulling him under the ring in his cage match against Brett Hart for the WWE title.
I know this match wouldn't be as athletic as the previous two Mania matches involving Taker and Shawn Michaels, but from a nostalgic stand point I can't think of a match I'd look more forward to.
Even though I'm getting way ahead of myself just thinking about a possible Taker versus Nash at Mania (in my opinion it would be better than Taker vs. Brock), could you imagine the pop at the Royal Rumble when you hear that truck horn and then old school Diesel music hits?
Oh yeah, I just got goose bumps.
Two years ago when I was making Mania match predictions, I pleaded and begged for a Rock vs HBK match (this was during the time that rumors were Rock vs Cena was a definite) but I conceded that the idea was just to awesome for Vince McMahon to give us, well sadly this falls under that same category.
I can already envision the comments section below filling up with people hating all over this idea. Some of the comments will definitely be geared towards Nash's age and mobility issues.
You know what, I'll concede those points, but sometimes the show isn't all about the actual match.
Yes, I want a good Mania match, and I think Nash can rise to the occasion and give it to us, but at the same time the build up to Nash vs. Taker would be absolutely epic. Not to mention it would have the possibility for one of the greatest endings in Wrestlemania history.
Think about it, Taker ended Shawn Michaels' career last year at Mania. By all accounts, this Mania will not only be Taker's last but also possibly his last match ever.
As tradition goes, wrestlers are supposed to lose on their way out (a dated and stupid tradition in my book).
The match is booked as a buried alive match (is there any other the Undertaker should have at his final Wrestlemania) with the loser done in the WWE forever.
Of course we have to believe that the streak is in jeopardy so Nash will have to probably dominate a good portion of the match, but of course the Undertaker would make a comeback near the end.
So you have Taker in full control of the match and then the lights go out and when they come back on, HBK is standing behind Taker and delivers a devistating Sweet Chin Music which causes Taker to stumble into a Jack Knife Powerbomb, and then the 1,2,3.
Streak over, the Undertaker is buried and gone and the fans get a satisfying match.
Or, if the WWE wants to break with tradition, take what I just said with the Sweet Chin Music and Powerbomb but have the Taker kick out and proceed to beat down HBK and Nash and secure the victory and bury both HBK and Nash for good measure.
I think either outcome would work very well and would have an epic battle feel to it.
Likelihood of this taking place is probably around one percent, but a man can dream can't he?
