Raheem Morris' Buccaneers Still 'The Best Team in the NFC?'
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris caused quite a stir last week when he proclaimed his 4-2 team the best in the NFC.
To an extent, and due to a convenient technicality, he was right, and after Sunday’s 38-35 win over the Cardinals in Arizona, he’s not changing his mind.
"I am going to remain unwavered," said Morris. "You know, there’s no doubt about it, man. As long as my record says we're the best team in the NFC, I am not going to let anyone tell me that we're not.”

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Buccaneers have won five straight road games dating back to last year. They’ve mounted four fourth-quarter comebacks this season, and they are 7-3 in their last 10 games, also dating back to last year.
There are three 5-2 teams in the NFC: The New York Giants, the Atlanta Falcons and the Buccaneers. The AFC’s New England Patriots (6-1) are the only team in the NFL with a better record than the Buccaneers.
But does that make them the best in the NFC?
In their five wins, they have beaten teams with a cumulative 12-19 record, all with losing records, save the 4-4 St. Louis Rams.
Meanwhile, their two losses came in blowout fashion to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints, legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
Of course, all they can do is play the teams the schedule lays out for them; however, we’ll learn a lot more about the Buccaneers next Sunday when they march into the Georgia Dome to face the Falcons, fresh off their bye week, with the NFC South lead on the line.
